So 2 BIG things happened yesterday and I am feeling doubly blessed !!

I’ve been struggling since February with a few hospital admissions and finally had an op yesterday to sort it out🤞🏻 no lifting for 6 weeks - All this at the busiest time of the growing year!

My amazing team have been a woman down nearly all year and yesterday we needed a bit of a boost.

So, the the even more exciting and well, magical thing that happened yesterday, was a gorgeous ‘bunch’ of local growers arrived!! They have weeded a couple of neglected beds, created brand new no-dig beds, shifted tonnes of compost and planted out seedlings for late Summer and Autumn flowering.

So we are back on track!! I am so grateful to Hannah of Smallbrook Cottage Flowers, Shanna of Harebell & Bee, Emma of Bloomcliff Flowers (insta), Lorna and Adrian of Floral Distraction (insta), Poppy of Vixen Vinegars and as always, our marvellous Nicky!!

Thank you to Luke Walsh Gardening & Maintenance who also did some emergency strimming and hedge cutting!!

Glorious colours across the flower farm today after the rain. Thank you to (the perfectly named) Poppy, who has joined our team today.

I’m going to be out for a few weeks due to surgery, but Nicky and Poppy are keeping the flowers and existing orders going. I have wonderful freelancers Lucy, Shannah and Lorna coming in to help with weddings. My daughter Izzy is going to do a socials takeover and most importantly a team of fabulous local growers are coming next week to plant out the seedlings I haven’t had a chance to finish. More news on that follow!!

I am feeling very blessed, thank you to everyone for their support.
