Bruntingthorpe Charity Fun Day

Following the deeply sad news of the passing of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II, we have made the difficult decision to cancel our Bruntingthorpe Family Fun Day tomorrow (Saturday, 10 September) and we are now exploring potential dates in 2023.

We were looking forward to welcoming you to our Bruntingthorpe site for a day of fun and to raise money for some fantastic charities, but out of respect we feel the right thing to do is to postpone our event.

We are now working with Eventbrite, our ticket provider to process full refunds as soon as possible. If you have any questions about your refund, please contact us via [email protected].

If you were planning to attend the event, we hope you’ll still be able to join us on the new date so please do keep an eye on our page for more details coming soon.

Come down to the Bruntingthorpe Charity Fun Day and help us raise money for three fantastic charities Magpas Air Ambulance, Make a Wish and Mission Motor Sport!

Please be aware that in the local area to the event there are some road closures in and around Bruntingthorpe. To ensure you do not miss out on the fun, please allow for plenty of time with any travel arrangements and arrive in good time for any activities you wish to take part in. We are looking forward to seeing you all on Saturday 10th September!

Please see key timings below and note a time change on the dog show, which will start at 12pm, please arrive to register for this from 10-11.30am on entry.

Welland Valley Cycling Bike Skills sessions (10.00 -13.00)
Youngsters from age 4 to 12 can take to the go-kart track to learn bike handling skills and try their hand at some mini racing in sessions led by Welland Valley Cycling Club. Riders will need their own bike, a helmet (‘no helmet, no ride’), and a drink.

Lutterworth Dog Show (12.00-13:00)

12:00 – Prettiest Bitch
12:15 – Most Handsome Dog
12:30 – Waggiest Tail
12:45 – Best Rescue
13:00 – Best Sausage Catcher

£2 point entrance per dog per class, payable between 10:00 – 11:30 at the entrance gate

Live Music
We are pleased to confirm Robert Smyth Academy and the band Soul Patrol will be playing live from 12pm on the day, along with other acts to keep the family entertained.

Come and join the fun from 10am and at the same time help us raise money for some wonderful charities.

Our final and third chairty we are raising money for is Mission Motorsport. Launched at Thruxton Motor Circuit on 1st March 2012 in order to help those affected by military operations by engagement through sport, the charity recognised from the outset the astonishing inspirational and healing potential of sport. Motorsport is unique in that the disabled compete against the able bodied on a level playing field - there is no separate category for disability. For more info visit
