We’re delighted to share details of Bedfordshire Hospitals NHS Charity 5th Annual Charity Dinner raising funds for the Little Feet Maternity Appeal.

The event is taking place on Friday 9 October 2026 at The Conservatory, Luton Hoo Estate.

The evening will feature fine dining, live music, an auction and special guest speaker Martin Bayfield.

This prestigious event is once again sponsored by Atrumed Healthcare.

Help raise vital funds for The Disability Resource Centre while enjoying a brilliant evening of bingo Mecca Bingo - Luton

For more than 30 years, DRC has helped disabled and elderly people, as well as their carers, live independently and participate fully in their communities. Every ticket helps support its trusted advice, advocacy, training and practical services.

Bedfordshire Chamber of Commerce member Royal Elderly Care & Wellbeing CIC, is raising £5,000 to help sustain its community work in Luton.

This includes the Royal Day Experience for older adults, which focuses on companionship, dignity and wellbeing while helping to reduce loneliness and social isolation.

The organisation has personally covered many of the costs involved in delivering this work and is now seeking support from local businesses, community partners and individuals.

Any contribution, however small, or simply sharing the appeal with others could make a real difference.

On Friday 11 September 2026, Bedford MS Therapy Centre is hosting their Fire & Ice Challenge and they're looking for brave individuals ready to take part.

This isn't about being fearless. It's about challenging yourself, changing your mindset, and achieving something you never thought possible.

Your challenge includes:

🔥 Walking across hot coals
❄️ Crossing a bed of sterilised broken glass
💪 Building confidence, resilience, and self-belief
💙 Raising vital funds for people living with MS

This September, One YMCA are celebrating their 140th anniversary from when YMCA Watford & District was founded way back in 1886....

140km is also the 'as the crow flies' distance between three of their key hubs of Watford, High Wycombe and Bedford in the Three Counties

Presenting the 140 Challenge!! It's free to register, and all we ask is that every participant raises a minimum of £140

It's a virtual challenge to complete the distance in your time, at your pace, anywhere in the world!!

They'll even throw in a free running t-shirt - while stocks last!

Impakt Housing & Support invites you to join them for a Sip & Paint fundraising event at The Bedford Swan Hotel & Thermal Spa on Thursday 17 September at 7pm.

Every penny raised will go directly to IMPAKT Housing & Support, helping people in our community who are experiencing homelessness, domestic abuse and food insecurity.

Local artist Sarah Patel will guide you step by step as you create your own watercolour flowers, offering plenty of tips and encouragement along the way. No experience is needed, and your finished masterpiece will be yours to take home!

Bedfordshire Hospitals NHS Charity are delighted to have the incredibly talented local singer Olivia Lynn supporting the Bedfordshire Hospitals NHS Charity Summer Fundraising Challenge, and schools could win a visit, including a special performance!

Olivia Lynn is a 20-year-old UK country-pop singer-songwriter whose heartfelt song writing and modern-meets-traditional sound have already delivered multiple iTunes chart-topping singles. Her forthcoming album Little Miss Nightmare arrives in 2026, led by new title track single “Little Miss Nightmare”. With standout live performances at venues such as the iconic O2 Arena, London and headline festival slots to come, Olivia is a powerful rising voice in modern country music. Her energetic stage presence will captivate any audience.
