Lovely place to visit , especially at the moment as the trees are leafing up and coming into their early
spring colour, blossom and splendour. Excellent light yesterday for taking a few photographs, came across a wandering swan feeding on the grass in the woods. Lots of Camassia in bud, Cowslips and large clumps of Leucojum too! Also a good coffee in the cafe.

A big thank you to the two young men who rescued me in their ‘Gator’ from the Cowslip patch, you know who you are.

Mill Garden in Warwick, a peaceful, tranquil cottage garden with an exceptional setting, on the river Avon. Tucked away at the end of Mill Street , under the ramparts of Warwick castle. Only a short walk from the centre of Warwick town , a modest entry of £3.00, unusual plants for sale , open everyday, 1st April to end of October.
Worth a visit , you can take in your own coffee or little picnic too!

Watched this beautiful Dragonfly dry out it’s new wings before it’s first flight today, in the closeup below it does look as though it is winking.
I am unsure what variety it is ! Golden ringed perhaps!
