We welcome lots of cyclists throughout the year, including a group who are staying with us tonight while they do the Marcher Castles Way, arranged by the brilliant Rewild MTB. Cyclists especially like our secure bike storage area, outdoor charging points for e-bikes, and fully-equipped kitchen for self-catering, plus numerous other amenities that have earned us a ⭐⭐⭐⭐ rating from in the group accommodation category since 2018.

Just had a peak at the long-range weather forecast for Ludlow, and there is a lot of good outdoor swimming weather coming up, which also means good weather for enjoying the many outdoor activities our area has to offer.

Ludlow locals have enjoyed swimming in the River Teme for many years, and in 2024, a stretch of the river was awarded Bathing Water Status by DEFRA. Walk due west from the Mascall Centre, through the heart of the medieval market town and around the castle to arrive at Millennium Green beach.

In addition to her beautifully detailed animal drawings and paintings, our current gallery artist, Ann Wallace, also creates needle-felted animal portraits. Be sure to look for these delightful pieces when you stop by the Centre.

Our menopause awareness events start NEXT WEEK in and . There are still places available but be quick before they fill up!

Brought to you in collaboration with Community Resource and Shropshire Council, the events will include:
- info on the the wide range of symptoms of menopause and perimenopause
- the risks and benefits of Hormone Replacement Therapy (HRT)
- lifestyle changes to improve your symptoms
- resources to provide support for people in this phase of life
- a recorded Q&A session with Dr Deborah Shepherd
- a free gentle yoga taster session.
