Did you catch Ludlow Castle on National Geographic? 👀
The final episode of How The Tudors Lost Their Heads turned its attention to Margaret Pole, Countess of Salisbury, and we were particularly interested to see Ludlow Castle feature in the story. 🏰
Margaret Pole spent time at Ludlow Castle as part of the household of the young Princess Mary, who would later become Queen Mary I. It's a fascinating connection to one of the most turbulent periods in Tudor history, and a reminder of the important figures who once lived and worked within these walls.
It was lovely to see the Castle on screen, as Dan Snow and Professor Suzannah Lipscomb revisited this chapter of its history.
