Now that was a scorcher! It may not have been sunny outside, in fact it was like a monsoon, but the heat from the acts on stage tonight would have triggered some thunderstorms!

Join us this evening for May edition of Kington Folk Club The Old Picture House Kington. Simply turn up from 7.30 (bridge st, kington) to sign up & play or just come to listen - all welcome. Music will begin at 8pm. Bar & snacks available onsite - we will take a short interval about half way through for refreshments.

OK folk fans, we have a problem....
Having asked for performers to play voluntarily at our July and August club nights, the only offers have come from white male singer songwriters of a certain age.
While we very much appreciate their kind and generous offers, we would like to diversify the range of performers to be more inclusive.
Surely there are folk performers out there who can break the manosphere monopoly?
