A customer requested a selection of BBQ food to be prepared, cooked and delivered to where they were staying on their annual summer holiday in Suffolk ☀️🏞️😎 And Hog and Ale didn't disappoint!! Chicken skewers marinated in a Greek Yoghurt style sauce 🍗🧅🫑 minted lamb chops 🌿 tender peppered steak slices 🍖 giant king prawns 🍤 and BBQ pork belly chunks....plus sausages for the kids of course 🌭🙂 What a delicious selection!!! Another wonderful hog roast 🐷🍏😋 followed by 4 delicious flavours of ice cream 🍦 straight from our vintage ice cream bike 🚲💞 in the most beautiful setting near Beccles ☀️🏞️ Una and Phil were the perfect hosts, entertaining more than 100 guests whilst they celebrated several special occasions on one night 🎉 There was lots of food, drink and great music...and with another scrumptious cheese board to finish 🧀🍅🍓🍇 I think a lot of fun was had by all 🙂

Another busy, sunny hog roast weekend 🐷🍏☀️🥰 Yesterday we were at a garden party in Bramfield, Suffolk 🎉 where the guests enjoyed plenty of hog roast, plus our delicious side salads 🥗 and vegetarian option!!! So much fun 😁
We then catered for the beautiful wedding of Jack and Bec at "THE LODGE" in Corton 💒💍 What a stunning venue (and bride!!!👰🏻‍♀️) lovely guests, great music 🎶 and glorious weather🌡️☀️ Hog roast with all the trimmings 🐷🍏 followed by our vintage ice cream bike 🚲🍦🍨 and delicious cheeseboard 🧀😋 to end a happy, sunny day 🥰

So Hog and Ale have been a bit quiet the last few weeks as we've been relocating 🏠🗝️ (turns out moving an entire family and a business is HARD work 🙈) But the show had to go on as the weddings 💒💍 and parties 🎉 are in full swing as the summer really gets going...and wow it's been hot, and very busy!!!! ☀️😎🐷🍏 We've been to the beautiful "HUSK" in Thorington 💞 where the host requested something a little different...Sutton Hoo chickens!!!! 🐔 Very succulent and very popular with the guests!!!
We've provided hog roast for a lovely wedding in Norwich at "THE EARLHAM" 💒🐷 burgers 🍔 and sausages 🌭 on the BBQ at Ringsfield Village Hall, a fun family garden party for a 'special birthday' 🎉🤫 in Corton...and several other places in between!!! 😁

And the new Hog Roast Season 2026 is go!!!! 🐷🍏☀️ And what a busy start it has been...wedding season is in full swing and people are making the most of the (mostly!!) sunny weather with garden parties 🎉 and BBQs 🌭 🍔☀️
We finished April at 'The old Rectory' in Great Melton with a beautiful wedding where the guests enjoyed plenty of hog roast followed by ice cream for all 🍦👰🏻‍♀️🤵🏻‍♂️💍 and May has seen us at the wonderful 'Fendicks Fishery' in Norfolk ⛺🐟 'The Dun Cow Pub' at Bardwell 🍻 and another lovely wedding in Stratford St Andrew 💒💞
