🎭 I’ve been so sociable this week! 😅

On Tuesday, I took part in the wonderful Movable Feast charity event, raising money for the amazing team at James Paget University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust. It’s such a fun idea, enjoying a starter in one restaurant, walking to a second venue for the main course, and then finishing with dessert at a third. The evening was rounded off with disco entertainment and a raffle. A fantastic atmosphere, great food, lovely company, and all for a very worthwhile cause. ❤️ Maxine and her team organised it perfectly. See you again next year!

On Wednesday, I headed to London with friends to see the West End production of Beetlejuice The Musical. I’ve been a fan of this show for around eight years, ever since it first appeared on Broadway, so I was absolutely over the moon to finally see it live. It totally exceeded all my expectations 🤩, funny, clever, spectacular, with an unbelievably talented cast and packed with energy. A definite 10/10 from me! And a well deserved standing ovation. I really hope they extend their run, as I would love to see the show again. 🤞❤️

Today, it’s back to reality, catching up on office work and rehearsing some new magic before heading off to Norwich this evening to see comedy magician Tom Brace at the Norwich Playhouse.

It’s been one of those weeks where several planned events have all merged into one week. It’s been a lot of fun, but I must admit I’m looking forward to a quieter week next week! 🤞😊

☀️🎈 What a lovely afternoon at Summer on the Mag in Gorleston! 🎩✨

I really enjoyed being part of this fantastic community event. From the moment I arrived, the team at St Mary Magdalene Church were so welcoming, organised and helpful. Their hard work behind the scenes helped everything run smoothly throughout the day and created such a friendly atmosphere for everyone attending.

I had the pleasure of performing three different magic shows, each featuring brilliant young helpers who did amazingly with all the magic. The best part of my job is seeing the children’s faces when they realise they are making the magic happen 😊 and there were plenty of those special moments throughout the afternoon 🪄.

The audiences were wonderful, with lots of laughter, applause and encouragement especially for the magical stars taking part in the shows.

Between shows, I spent time balloon twisting. It was lovely to chat with the children and their families during this time and share a few laughs along the way.

A huge thank you to everyone who came along, joined in the fun, and helped make the afternoon so special.

2nd week and no food waste collection! It's not looking good ♻️☹️. I've reported it again!

Introducing Ratatouille's! Serving the finest leftovers in town, with a fully stocked bin Juice Cocktail Bar featuring favourites such as the Gar Bin Rita, Sewer Spritz, Compost Cosmo and the popular Muck Mule. 🐀🍸🍽️

At this rate they'll have a Michelin Star ⭐ before the food waste gets collected!

🎉 What a lovely afternoon celebrating Cosmo’s 6th birthday at Pakefield Church Community Hall! ☀️🎈 With the weather being kind, we took the magic show outside, which made a brilliant relaxed setting for magic, laughter and lots of excitement.

Cosmo was great ⭐️🪄. One of my favourite moments was watching his reaction when he solved a Rubik’s Cube in a flash 🟥🟦🟨. He also helped link solid steel rings together, making the impossible look easy, and magically joined in as a rainbow transformed into a bag of balloons for all his friends. 🌈🎈

The children were completely drawn into the magic, with plenty of fun shouting, cheering and surprises from every direction. It was one of those parties where everyone wanted to be involved, and Cosmo led the way with a huge smile throughout.

For his special birthday balloon, Cosmo requested something connected to numbers and letters, so I created a giant 6–7 balloon sculpture. 😄 The moment it appeared, his friends instantly spotted these iconic numbers and spent the rest of the party happily chanting “six-seven, six-seven!” as the balloon made its grand journey around the celebration.

A big thank you to Cosmo, his family, and all his friends for making me feel so welcome. It was a real pleasure to be part of your birthday celebrations. 🎂🎉

🎉 What a super afternoon, celebrating Rafe’s 5th birthday, at the Melton Burness Parish Rooms! 🦸‍♂️🚀 It was fantastic to see Rafe and his family again. Back in 2022, I had the pleasure of entertaining at his sister’s 5th birthday party, so it was lovely to be invited back for another family celebration. 🎈😊

The birthday super missions began with balloon "Rocket Practice" 🚀, this was fun seeing the little rockets go through the targets as the children improved their aim, it also helped Rafe and his superhero team prepare for the fun challenges ahead. Next they put their powers to the test saving superhero HQ, a fun game, with party dancing, helping the superheroes and winning prizes along the way.

Rafe was brilliant throughout the party. His reactions to the magic, surprises, and superhero challenges were an absolute joy to see, and his enthusiasm had all his friends joining in with huge smiles and lots of laughter. 😃✨

During the superhero magic show, Rafe stepped up as the chief superhero and showed off his amazing powers! 🦸‍♂️🪄 He completed every challenge with flying colours and proved himself to be a true hero.

As a special thank you for all his hard work, Rafe received his official Superhero Certificate 📜⭐ and a specially made Spiderman balloon 🕷️🎈.

With a food break, the birthday song and balloon twisting fun for all the children, it was a really action packed party right to the finish.

A huge thank you to Rafe and his wonderful family for inviting me back and a special thank you to Rafe's sister Iris for an amazing birthday table layout. It was brilliant seeing you all again! 🎉🥳

The new bin collection system is a little confusing at the moment... but will be great locally ♻️

I'm still getting to grips with which bin takes what... but watching them all being collected certainly brightened up my morning! 😄
