What does a Wedding Host actually do?.....

One of the things I hear all the time is, “We didn’t realise a wedding DJ could actually do all of that.”

The truth is, I’m not just turning up in the evening and playing music. As your wedding host and DJ, I’m with you throughout the day, helping everything run smoothly from the ceremony right through to the last dance.

I’ll make the announcements, keep everyone informed about what’s happening next, coordinate with the venue and your other suppliers, and generally be that calm person making sure all the important moments happen when they’re supposed to.

It means you’re not having to worry about timings, chase people around, or wonder what’s happening next. You get to relax, spend time with your guests, and actually enjoy your wedding day.

That’s really what I do — I’m there to make the whole day feel easy, fun, and completely stress-free.

Sacha was just amazing, I always say to couples when we are planning that....

" The party is wherever you are"
....what I mean by that is that if you're outside all night then that's where the party is, if however you're on or around the dance floor then naturally everyone gravitates towards you.

Your wedding isn’t just the evening party — it’s the whole experience. From welcome drinks to the last dance, every part of the day needs to flow properly.

Anyone can call themselves a host, but can they:
• What training have you had?
• How many weddings have you hosted from start to finish?
• Can I see full-length videos of you hosting?
• What makes your hosting different from every other DJ?
• How do you handle changes to the schedule?
• How do you keep guests engaged throughout the day?
• How do you work with the venue team?
• Have you hosted at venues like ours before?

And that last question is a big one.
