Great to see The Aurrie Mor supporting local artists and showcasing how flexible the space can be.

Our annual exhibition is in full swing at the Aurrie Mor, Main Street, Lower Largo until Friday 8th August at 3 pm - Open 10 am - 5 pm tomorrow, and 10 am - 3 pm on Friday. Come along and see the beautiful works created by our members.

Coming next!!

Only a week to go until the annual Largo Bay Art Society Exhibition. Come along and see the lovely artworks and crafts created by our members. The Exhibition is being held this year from Saturday 2nd August until Friday 8th August at the Aurrie Mor, Main Street, Lower Largo. It will be open 10 am - 5 pm Saturday to Thursday and 10 am - 3 pm on Friday 8th. Parking is available at the Temple Car Park, Lower Largo

Friends of Largo Bay are thrilled to be offering lots of fun beach ideas for families of all ages.

Kit and games will be available from The Aurrie Mor - all you need is to allow your imagination to roam and embrace some chill time.

Now that we have our Public Entertainment License we are keen to see this great building come into regular use. We have plans for the Summer, however if you are a community organisation, a business or an individual who'd like to start a new group, or organise an event, then we have the meeting room, the big hall and of course the very fine organ available.

We are talking to new potential leaseholders for both The Aurrie and The Aurrie Mor, but until they are in place the building is there and we'd love to see it used. (Nominal or zero-charge for us just to cover costs for not-for-profit groups.)

A. The community buildings in the heart of our village, like The Aurrie Mor (formerly St David’s Church), to be derelict, to decline and fall into disrepair? Become an AirBnB? Become a second home?

B. Do you want it to flourish and be maintained, providing a great space to host events such as music, opera, ceilidhs, fundraising, spoken-word, private-functions, Christmas Fares, weddings and Largo Arts Week?

If you want B. then you have until the end of Wednesday to submit an email of support.

Email [email protected]; state why you support a public entertainment license for the Aurrie Mor in Lower Largo and include your name and address. Any license granted will include conditions on us to address the legitimate concerns of the immediate neighbours.
