✨ SKILL SWAPS | HARRISON STUDIOS ✨

I’ve been thinking about introducing something a little different at Harrison Studios…

I know that right now, things are financially tight for a lot of people, and sometimes there are skills and services we’d love to access but simply can’t justify spending money on.

So, I’d love to open up the idea of skill swaps. 🤍

If you have a profession, business or particular skill that could benefit me or the studio, I’d be happy to discuss exchanging that for photography.

This could potentially include things such as:

📸 Family sessions
🎂 Cake smash sessions
🎁 Gift vouchers
🤍 Portrait sessions
✨ Other studio packages

In return, you might offer a skill or service that you provide — whether that’s something for the studio, my photography business, or something that would genuinely be useful.

The aim is simple: a fair exchange where we both get something valuable without money needing to change hands.

I’m particularly interested in hearing from people with small businesses, trades, creative skills or professional services.

Every swap would be discussed individually, and I’d always want it to feel fair and worthwhile for both sides.

So if you’ve been thinking “I wonder if she’d be interested in swapping?” — just send me a message. 💌

Let’s support each other, make use of the skills we have, and build a little more community around our businesses. 🤍

🎄✨ HELP ME CHOOSE MY CHRISTMAS MINI SET! ✨🎄

I have TWO completely different ideas in my head… and I genuinely can’t decide! 😂
So I need YOUR help.

☕️ OPTION 1 — CHRISTMAS HOT CHOCOLATE STATION
A cosy little festive hot chocolate stand, Christmas trees, twinkly lights and festive details 🎄✨
And the fun part… an interactive section for the children!
They could “make” their own pretend hot chocolates, add marshmallows, sprinkles, candy canes etc. — giving them something fun to do while we capture those natural, playful moments 🤎

OR…
🧸 OPTION 2 — COSY CHRISTMAS COMFORT
Think blankets, cushions, Christmas trees, presents, warm earthy tones, fairy lights and that gorgeous cosy woodland Christmas feeling 🤍🎄
More relaxed, snuggly and magical — perfect for those gorgeous family cuddles and little ones wrapped up in blankets.

👇 SO… WHICH ONE WOULD YOU PICK?!
☕️ COMMENT “HOT CHOC” for Option 1
🧸 COMMENT “COSY” for Option 2

I’ll let the comments decide what I create this year! 🎄✨
(I will be doing an indoor session too for those who would prefer an indoor shoot)
