Wicked Hathern Fest WHF - Loughboroughs freshest and biggest music festival! Located on the old County Show Field in Hathern, the event is in prime location on the main A6.

Founded in 2012, Wicked Hathern Fest is swiftly becoming one of Leicestershire's premier music festivals. A great range of music provided by local artists and headlining acts plus a bar specialising in real ales and home-brewed ciders and plenty for the kids to do too - a great family day out!

It is with great sadness we have to announce there will be no Wicked Hathern Fireworks and Bonfire this year. Unfortunately due to reasons outside of our control we are no longer able to use the field we have called home for the best part of 10 years, and have not yet found a new home for our larger events.

We would like to thank the farmer and his family for their unwavering support, without whom our larger events would not have been possible 🩷

To our volunteers, thank you for the blood, sweat and tears you have poured into the events, you will never know how much you mean to us.

To our patrons THANK YOU for turning out even in the most extreme weather conditions to enjoy the fireworks and bonfire! We love you all! We hope to share news of events in 2025 💜

Wow what a weekend 🎇

Thank you so much to everyone for coming to our event. As a group of volunteers we are so happy to hear what a great time you all had! Thank you for continuing to support us, which in turn allows us to support other community groups and events.

There will be more photos to come, but we really wanted to say a massive thank you to all of the volunteers who support the event. Whether they are from our organisation (Hathern Village Association), Hathern Community Library, Hathern W.I, Loughborough Land Rover Club or friends from all over the country we really couldn't do this without your hard work and willingness to be out in all sorts of weather!

We have found some items on the site cleanup this morning which we want to reunite with their owners.

Our Story

The festival is entirely organised and run by a team of volunteers with the proceeds from each festival going back into the next one or being donated to groups, charities or organisations within the village of Hathern. The funds even support Hathern’s Big Week, which is a 10-day long series of free events in June each year.
