Sophie & Joel made the most of every part of Sutton Bonington Hall on their wedding day.

One minute they were surrounded by family and friends, the next they were wandering through the gardens together while the celebrations carried on nearby. That’s one of the things we love about the Hall. You never have to go far to find another beautiful backdrop, and you’re never away from your guests for long.

The house, the gardens and the grounds all become part of the day, giving you the freedom to enjoy every corner without ever feeling like you’re rushing from one place to the next.

Not every couple dreams of getting married outside.

For some, it’s always been about walking into a beautiful room, seeing everyone they love waiting for them, and having that moment together indoors.

The Drawing Room is one of our favourite spaces in the house. The tall windows fill it with natural light, guests sit close enough to feel part of every word, and it has all the character you’d expect from a house that’s been welcoming people for generations.

It’s also a lovely option for couples who want the confidence of knowing their ceremony will feel just as special whatever the weather.
