Hello and thank you for viewing my page.

I am a freelance live event technician that has skills in Lighting, Sound, Video, Rigging, Power Distribution & Project Management.

I have spent to last 7 years of my life pushing myself to make myself a better technician, team player and a manager. I have spent the last 18 months of my career working for Premier UK Event Ltd. I started as one of their 'Event Crew' installing the dance floors & LED furniture. I quickly was then moved onto their Projects Department. This saw me move over and assist the project managers with organising sub-hires, lighting patches, technical prep, organising and liaising with crew as well as out on site installing, running the show, de-rigging and sometimes running a team of crew and technicians. During this time I have expanded my knowledge on all areas of the event industry.

I have worked as a technician on gala dinners, conferences, weddings, charity fund raisers from 5 people up to 1,500 people. I have Project managed, constructed and installed exhibition stands and Assistant Project Managed gala dinners, conferences, weddings, charity fund raisers. Within these roles I have also dealt a lot with clients to ensure we are providing what their event needs, and we can achieve it in the time set out. I have good client skills, letting them know enough information to make sure they are happy with what we are providing but not providing to much information to confuse them and make them worry about what we are providing.

I am now looking to push myself even further and work in a broader variety of events and working along side different crew and technicians. I am very self motivated and love to push my knowledge to the limit and always like learning new skills.

Proud to say that I have now officially passed my University Degree from The Royal Central School of Speech and Drama on the behalf of the University of London. I have passed with a 2:2 in BA (Hons) Theatre Practice specialising in Production Lighting. So chuffed. Well worth the debt and the stress! Now onto working with Premier UK Events Ltd! So lucky to have a full time job with such an amazing company!

Today I was lucky enough to be able to work within Leicester Cathedral to install a small amount of lighting for a gala dinner. There was a red and blue theme throughout.
