Why you might ask? Well, the first time I met Cody, this boy did not want to walk. He found it very challenging to leave his owners even for a few minutes. 🥺

Not a great start, Cody’s short life has seen three different owners, with very different approaches. 😳 But 3.5 yrs ago, finding Emma & Callum was Cody’s absolute lifeline, & he knew it. So loyal & loving, they are his whole world as he is theirs. ❤️

So we knew immediately that three sessions was not enough to help build his confidence & trust, & decided to split all three into six shorter sessions to make it easier for Cody, giving me more frequent opportunities to help him. 👍🏻🙌

In nearly every session, Cody made it clear from the start that he initially did not want to be away from Emma & Callum, but in every session there were signs he was relaxing & me trusting more.

Whilst there was obvious progress, we agreed from the start, to be realistic & let Cody decide on the day what he could do. B plan already in place if he couldn’t deliver the rings or stay during drinks etc🙌 👍🏻

I arrived at Foxtails to collect Cody then off for a short walk & familiarisation around the grounds, followed by staying quite close to the Groom & Groomsmen 👍🏻

A quick hello to the Bride & Bridesmaids, Cody relaxed more into his role, knowing all his people were in one place & enjoying all the attention🤗

He sat quietly, watching & waiting patiently outside the room until it was time. Grandad (Cody’s fav as Grandad gives him steak!) came to collect, & Cody proudly walked beside him & delivered the rings💍🙌

I stayed at the back of the room in case Cody started to find everything a bit too much, but I needn’t have! He stayed quietly, taking everything in ❤️ He then made his pawrents day extra special by escorting them both back down the aisle in style 🤗👍🏻🙌

Greeting the newlyweds as they completed the confetti run🙌 Mingling & posing for pics by the fabulously talented Kayleigh Carnes Photography 📸 Being uber cute for fuses & helping to create great content for lovely Harriet (who was smitten!)🙌 It was time to retire to the onsite cottage to chill & process the day🙌😴

Thankyou Emma & Callum for allowing me to take care of your sweet boy, 🙏who I know you agree, did a totally PAWSOME job 🥳🎉🎊
And my goodness Cody! You surpassed everyone’s expectations & made the day magical you little super🌟 Thankyou little one ❤️

Over the past week we’ve had 5 familiarisation & 3 meet & greet sessions with these beauties! 👍🏻

The most important part of our job is getting to know you, your dog & learning how we can all best work together. 👍🏻

We want you to feel confident & comfortable in the choice you made to work with us. 👍🏻

We want you to experience first hand how we respond & interact with your dog, so you can feel reassured along the journey to your special day. 👍🏻

Most importantly, we want to support your dog to be happy & stress free. And to do that, we need to get to know them. 👍🏻

How they respond to us . What they find challenging or sometimes even scary! What makes them happy. What can we do to make every experience with us a positive one & help gain their trust. 👍🏻

"A huge thank you to Di at That's Pawfect for supporting us with our baby girl, Scout, on our wedding day.

From our first contact with Di, her passion for working with dogs and her expertise within the industry was evident. It instantly put us at ease that we could trust her with taking care of Scout on our wedding day - something we were certain we wanted but hadn't been sure was possible before we met Di.

Throughout the entire process, we felt so supported. The familiarisation sessions meant Scout got to know Di well and was always excited to see her, we received photos and updates of the run-up and on the day from Scout's point of view and we were able to relax knowing our girl was in the best hands.

Di even helped to co-ordinate Scout during photos and group shots and seemed to know exactly what Scout needed and when.

We had so many compliments on how friendly Di was and how wonderful it was to have Scout as part of the wedding day celebrations - and it's all thanks to Di.

That's Pawfect was one of the best decisions we made for our wedding day and we couldn't recommend them highly enough! Thank you.”

It was a double celebration for gorgeous boy Remus this week🙌 He turned 1yr old on Thursday & was the V.I.P at his pawrents wedding yesterday 👍🏻🥳🎉🎊❤️
And what a PAWSOME job he did!

Yep, this is one small dog with an oversized personality who really hates missing out on anything, loves to be in the thick of it & definitely thrives on being the centre of attention ❤️🤣🙌

And why shouldn’t she! Just look at that face & eyelashes to die for! 😍

The morning started with a slow, relaxed journey from home. Scout happily snoozin along the way. 😴😴

A bit of a wet, grey start with rain predicted throughout, we arrived at the venue to have a good look around & play mainly indoors 👍🏻

A few fusses from Hudad, the events team, Groomsmen & guests, it was off to say hi to Humum & Bridesmaids so Scout could get wedding ready too 🙌

All dressed in white, rings collected & secured she waited patiently, ready to wow guests just as she wanted 👌😍😍

Escorted down the aisle by Maid of Honour, Aunty Jess, Scout completed her duties effortlessly, even with a costume fail! 🙈

Back outside the ceremony room, it was a costume tweak, before greeting her newlyweds as they emerged from a veil of confetti🎊🎉🎊

Now it may have been raining but that didn’t stop the party one little bit! 🍾🍾🍾
Scout brightened everyone’s day 🌞Using sheer charm, she managed to grab the limelight & posed perfectly for so many pics with guests, Bridesmaids, Groomsmen & eventually the newlyweds! 🤣📸🙌
Although she did demand extra rewards when it came to THAT veil shot! 🍗🤣

Duties complete & cuddles collected, Scout said bye to her pawrents before retiring to her onsite cottage for some serious downtime, after trying to chase all the pheasants, turkeys & squirrels enroute! 🦃🐿️🦃
Well you can take the glam out of a dog but you can’t take the hound out of the style 😘

Isy & Ethan, it’s been a real pleasure getting to know you & your furry superstar, & thank you for choosing me to take care of her🙏🤗

This little man may have been getting on in years & was slowing down, but he definitely loved HIS Big Day 🙌

From the moment he walked up the ramp into the pet mobile, to the minute he laid down in his bed back at home to dream away the day, we took it all at his pace 🙌

With helping hands from vet nurse of nearly 30 yrs - Davine from Heath Tails & Wedding Tails & my lovely hubby (I was extra slow & sat out on the sidelines due to broken toe!), Tito had expert care throughout the day 👍🏻

And whilst sweet Tiro may be taking things at a more relaxed pace these days, he revelled in his V.I.P status, oh yes he’d did!🙌

Of course he said hi to humum & helped calm her as she was getting wedding ready🙌
Of course he checked in with his very nervous Hudad, helping him to focus on something else & chill 🙌
Of course he was the main greeter of guests, welcoming them with his waggy tail🙌
Of course he was the uber responsible Ringbearer & sat in the ceremony watching over everyone & checking proceedings, only barking once for a treat 🤣! 🙌
Of course he worked the room for more attention & posed for pics 😍📸
And of course, it goes without saying, he made his pawrents day so much more extra special ❤️❤️❤️

Thankyou Amanda & Dave for entrusting us with your beautiful boy who looked sooo distinguished with his white whiskers & bow tie 😍❤️ And you were the bestest Tito, putting much younger pupsters to shame! 🤣🙌 Thank you lovely boy🙏❤️🥰

H***h is one uber happy pupster whose main job of Ringbearer was also a complete surprise for the guests. So ensuring he was away from the limelight until absolutely necessary was the priority 🙌

H***h was ready & waiting for fun when we arrived at the cottage, which was far away enough from the venue to be able to have a walk & play without anyone seeing him. 👍🏻

Surrounded by his Humum & Bridesmaids having hair, makeup, fizz & photos, he was taking it all in his stride with the odd Zoomies thrown in for entertainment purposes 🤣👍🏻

Having the lovely Davine from Heath Tails & Wedding Tails shadowing us, H***h had double chaperones to choose from which he definitely made the most of! 🙌

First looks captured forever by the fab we followed the wedding party to the venue & waited patiently outside until it was time! 👍🏻

Dressed to impress, H***h delivered the rings in style & then took his rightful seat at the top of the aisle. 🙌

Ceremony duties complete, he moved to mingling, more photos, & generally sharing the love & licks. It was then time to chill, so back to the cottage we went. 👍🏻

A few hours snoozing & snuggles between me & Davine followed by dinner; H***h was refreshed ready for golden hour shots with his newlyweds back at venue before a final relaxed return journey, & more fussing before bed 👍🏻🙌
