A really special commission today. Nearly 9 yrs ago I made a bouquet & buttonhole for K&T and today I went back to with a very close replica which are shooting for them.

It was so lovely to catch up with them and meet their two children - it certainly made me feel older ha but we chatted away like yesterday was their wedding day!

Rather fitting that K got the last of the dahlias in her bouquet as I then headed to the field to cut them all down and got them tucked up for winter!

So, it really is the end of season bouquet x

October and the field is still belting out some beautiful blooms. There were even roses blooming yesterday when I was at the field and yes I did stop with a rather suspect flask of tea and sniff deeply….as we never know when that last sniff of the season might be!

The ‘to do’ list seems to be overwhelming but I am determined to stay focused with 5 key things on the check list and a pat on the back if in complete 3!

How is your hump day going?

Between the showers, pricking out seedlings and making dried flower garlands I’ve started work on the 2026 colour boards for my spring clients. It’s always an exciting time for my couples and I can’t wait to share this next stage with them soon!

I do have some availability for Spring 2026 so shout (or perhaps email!) if you want to receive a bespoke quotation.

It’s that time of year to mention Christmas, in my honest opinion too early, however this workshop is always over subscribed! I think it’s the unique element in the freedom to create your own design as you are in charge of what you pick. Yes, that’s right…no smart footwear required on this workshop unless it’s a brilliant waterproof boots…which I’m still thinking about by the way!

Join me on the dreamy on Sunday 7th December at 10.00am to forage in the beautiful gardens, walk through all the pretty pathways that meander around the estate. When your arms are full we will return to the warmth of the house to create a wild wreath. Always fun and always impossible to make one without thinking you also own a front door as big as theirs!

Head to website and book a place under the section ‘events’. I’ll also put a link on stories!

Ending this season in full colour saturation!! Whilst not my last wedding of 2025 this one is the last of this seasons field grown flowers.

Huge congratulations to E&A who married at the weekend.

Life now turns to lots of wedding admin with exciting plans for 2026. There is heaps of gardening, gosh it’s actually quite overwhelming but I’ll get there & hopefully time to reconnect with fellow industry folk for cuppas and lunches now we all return to a slightly quieter life! (Well until Christmas work that is 😆🤦🏻‍♀️)

It’s been a blast x

I’m not sure I’ll ever forget Georgie. Her wedding day seemed far away when she first booked but her excitement was infectious.

Whilst totally laid back and happy to have seasonal flowers I knew she just loved all flowers and all my arrangements as she would tell me weekly, whilst counting down to her special day with Jim.

Dogs, flower crowns and vintage cars….it was all so beautiful.

Congratulations Georgie & Jim I shall miss working with you xx

July garden in an urn.

I do love it when the photographer loves flowers as much as the florist!! capturing all angles and making it hard to share one frame!!

Emily & Sam’s beautiful wedding.
I always suggest an urn in the entrance as it’s just the perfect spot for all your arriving guests.
