It’s been 15yrs!!

15yrs of Garden Gate this year. When I started there where very few grower florists and now we seem to be a force up and down the country! It’s been an incredible journey with amazing clients and industry folk.

Having banged on about it a lot in the beginning I do realise that maybe I take it for granted that people know I GROW the flowers!! So here’s a little reel that felt like it took 15yrs to create….I mean come on….15yrs ago one image on insta was all I needed to share ha ha!

What does an armful of roses really look like?

Well, have patience and wait to the end to find out! Roses have always been a big part of Garden Gates journey and each year I melt when they bloom their socks off & the garden is filled with their heady scent.

I think it’s fair to say this a is tough week for those working outside! However the cold and wet followed by mega heat has brought on the flowers faster than I can pick them.

It’s been lovely to work on a local foodie friend’s wedding this week. Huge congratulations to A&B what a day you had!!!
Boconnoc, as always, looking stunning in the sunshine and I’m back there on Saturday too - yeah!

For Zara 🤍 - May seems to be zipping by fast!

I’ve had a day of admin and should be all caught up. With the rain we have had over night I’ll be planting out the next crop of seedlings at the weekend.

I hope you are all excited for what looks like a dry bank holiday! Wow!
