It’s been a long time since the Guild Hall closed and we have really missed it! We were delighted to be involved in the audio and lighting refit and opening of the Preston Guildhall Lounge. This weekend saw Vertigo Sounds' first summer festival of the season at Littleborough Rugby Club for a very lovely organisation called the Johnny Alfrey Music Memorial CIC organised by the parents of Johnny , a talented young musician who died suddenly at just 22. The family support young musicians throughout the year with the highlight being this festival. It was a pleasure to provide all the tech, sound and lighting for the main stage for them. They are an inspirational group of family & friends. The highlight for me was Clouds and Errors, a local, young and very talented band playing their own material and also I enjoyed John Bramwell who plays the guitar so beautifully. Looking forward to next year!
