A kitchen and dining room big enough to cater for, seat and with 40 guests . And a second kitchen set up for baking, children’s high tea in-front of the TV or for making cocktails at our small and making the most of the three door .

Worried about the sheer volume of washing up? We have not one but three dishwashers.

Graze. Graze. Graze. Along with slow cooked suppers (tagines or chillis) these are fabulous for the night of arrival . Family and friends may be travelling from all over the country for the and may not be able to leave till after work.

No-one had to do crazy food unpacking on arrival or leap into using a kitchen they’re not used to (though our kitchens are so well equipped we’ve had professional chefs compliment us). The upper malthouse kitchen and caters for and seats 40.

Grazing. Even in the British Bank Holiday drizzle. Luckily has a huge green oak and glass timber framed garden room (the graze table is also a under the table cloth) so guests can still feel inside outside.

When you hire medieval Mill End, you can do your own thing. Hire the house and just add people.

Or Bo****lo Banquets can offer graze tables, slow cooked tagines or chillis, artisan breakfast baskets, pizza or pasta making, 2 or 3 course seated and served dinners, and why not throw in a too? Or a full English breakfast with a Forest of Dean twist, meaning staff clear up the kitchen on morning of departure, not you!

Also to enjoy in the spa space or in house treatments. Or something a bit more glamorous? A class or ***ir photoshoot.

"Now I’m home & caught up on sleep thought I’d send an email.

The house is amazing! I’ve never stayed at a house that is so well equipped, the three dishwashers were a game changer. Thank you so much - everyone loved it - the hen especially - and lots of people have taken the details for future events".

Our Story

A RIOT OF COLOUR RICH IN TASTE

IL BO****LO was originally the name of the notorious barge venue in Bristol which provided the VIP hospitality and catering for renowned Bristol music & media events.

In 2006, the business relocated to the Forest of Dean where the owner, Liz Lewitt, had transformed a beautiful listed building into an exclusive use boutique venue. And from here, Bo****lo Banquets was born before re-locating again to its current home in Gloucester.

Providing bespoke catering and entertainment, for both in-house guests at Mill End & also ‘on the road’ for private events, Bo****lo Banquets is a love affair with food; a visual, sensory feast; with sumptuous menus using the very best of local and artisan products and a quirky and creative take on table design and styling.
