Not quite Tudor Tuesday ... more like thank you Thursday! πŸŽ‰

This volunteers week we want to say a big thank you to all our amazing living history volunteers, without them our living history events simply couldn't take place.

Thank you all for your support, time, and dedication and for helping us bring the magic (and the past!) to life! From the Tudors to our multiperiod events, Victorians and soldiers to Christmas elves, you are all so appreciated for all you do for Kentwell.

Some of our Tudors have been joining us at Kentwell for years (our recreations started in the 1970s!) so today let's take another trip down memory lane (or perhaps avenue πŸ€”) with another Then vs Now!

If you'd like to see our wonderful volunteers in action, the Tudors will be back soon for Tudor Midsummer (20th - 21st and 27th - 28th June) and we can't wait to see them! Head to our website to find out more.

It might have been a drizzly start to opening this week, but how could we resist one more sunny post!

This week it's volunteers week and we wanted to start by saying a big old thank you to our gardens volunteers! Thank you for all your hard work with the gardens team keeping our grounds and gardens looking so lovely!

Come and see all their hard work for yourself this week as we'll be open Wednesday to Sunday, 11am to 4pm. And don't fret if it's a little damp ... the plants will love it!

Thanks again to all our hardworking volunteers, we couldn't do it without you.

Let's take a moment to pause πŸƒ

There are lots of great paths to explore here at Kentwell, including right here by the moat! Just imagine how many people have wandered here throughout history (and we're not just talking about our living historians!).

We'll be open again this week from Wednesday to Sunday, 11am to 4pm. For more information, opening times, and to learn more about Kentwell, head to our website!

Settling in and cooling off ready for a new week.

It's probably the quietest our peacocks have been all week! Have you seen (or heard) our pack of squawkers recently?

We'll be back to our normal Wednesday to Sunday opening this week, 11am to 4pm. We hope to see you then!

The sun is out, the breeze is lovely and cool, and the house is waiting to be explored! We’re open this weekend from 11am to 4pm … come and see it all yourself!

Tickets are available online and on the door and, today only, we have a 17th century pop-up over on the Barns Sward - why not check it out!

A shady walk on a sunny day around historic grounds ... with an ice cream just around the corner! Can it get any better? 🍦

Coming to see us this week? Make sure you're being sun safe! Hats, suncream, and a break in the shade if it gets too much are just right. We're open every day this week for the half term holidays, 11am to 4pm (and kids have free entry with gardens only tickets!).

Maybe we'll be seeing you soon! β˜€οΈ
