Here’s a simple rule of thumb:

• 2–3 light bites per person per hour for short events
• 4–6 bites per person per hour for longer or evening events
• Add a little extra if it’s the main meal or people will be very active
For weddings... don't even try to guess... you don’t have to calculate anything.
