Beat the heat on a budget! Enjoy a nice and cool 17°C inside while it's 30+ outside! Tried and tested! (Especially number 3)!

1.
Close your windows and doors in the morning, especially on sunny sides of your home.

2.
Open your windows and doors in the evening when the air cools and keep open through the night (where safe).

3.
[A] Get some glue tacs or washing up liquid, and a roll of tin foil.
[B] Cut to length some foil strips for your windows (especially on the sunny side).
[C] Apply glue tacs on OUTSIDE of your windows. Stick down the foil, shiny side out.
[D] If using washing liquid, squeeze a few droplets sparingly onto the dull side of the foil and stick to your windows outside, again, shiny side out.
This reflects sunlight and stops your rooms heating up during the day, and is easily washable when done.
**Do NOT apply inside as this could crack the glass.**

Remember to help those who are more vulnerable to heat stroke or heat related illness.
