Firstly we'd like to say a huge thank you to Faith Howden for many years of service at the Village Hall – most recently as Booking Secretary. We are very pleased to welcome Rose Hudson who has taken over the role.

Thank you also to Sheila and David Willars who are running the annual village Hall quiz this Saturday. They have run our annual village quiz for many years. If anyone would like to step up to take over this popular event please do get in touch.
We'd also like to extend our thanks to Ron Birkett who has recently stepped down as Director of the village hall after many years on the Board.
Recent developments -
You may have noticed that the BMX bike track has been refurbished recently. Thank you to the Hunter’s Trust for their very generous donation to make this possible and to Willett Homes for donating the stone required for the new surface. We look forward to seeing it in use.
Next events -
The Pop-Up pubs continue to be really successful & fun evenings, we all enjoy the chance to catch-up with neighbours over a pint! The next one is on Friday 5th June and then the final one before the summer break is Friday 3rd July. We are also planning to open the Hall and the bar for the England World Cup group qualifiers on 17/6 at 9pm, 21/6 at 9pm and 27/6 at 10pm. We look forward to seeing you there!
