Everyone sorts the activities first. The walks, swims, spa trips, wine tastings.

Then realises no one has thought about when or where to eat…
The assumption that you’ll just grab something on the way.

Then, when your day is filled to the brim with activities, sometimes all you want to is come back to the house, refresh and recharge.

▸ Then the main event: perfectly rare roast beef, crisp potatoes, seasonal vegetables, and rich gravy.

▸ Finished with a classic sticky toffee pudding served with clotted cream ice cream.

And yes… the Yorkshire pudding was added after the photo. Because what is a roast without one?

Hospitality: It’s hard work, long hours and even hotter kitchens!

Everyone starts at the bottom.

You find your way into a kitchen, you learn, you grow, and if you’ve got the passion, it becomes a career for life.

With that comes constant creativity: building dishes from scratch, balancing flavour, mastering techniques, plating with precision, and designing menus that make every event unique.

The real reward? Helping people create lasting memories with friends and family, and the pleasure of seeing guests enjoy themselves. That’s what makes it worthwhile.

This summer, we’ve watched that journey happen right in front of us.
