Ashbrook is a unique Historic House as it has been continuously lived in by the same family - the Ashes - since the first planter arrived before 1590. Both the house and the family have played a part in the history of the City of Derry and indeed the country at every stage from the plantation to the Seige and the Georgian era to WWII. The house and gardens are open by appointment for group visits.
