WEEK 4 — HEALTHY RELATIONSHIPS
What makes a relationship healthy? And what can make them difficult?

Week 4 of PEACE of Mind explores healthy relationships. Young people follow a story about a character navigating their connections with others. Through guided discussion with our Project Trainers, students have a space to explore what they’re seeing in the story and how it can reflect back to them in their own lives.

PEACE of Mind is a free 6-week Applied Storytelling programme for secondary schools in Northern Ireland and the border counties. Aiming to promote emotional wellbeing, confidence and resilience through Applied Storytelling.

Know a school that could use PEACE of Mind? Share this with them or get in contact with us at [email protected]. We have 4000+ students onboarded and counting.

This cross-community initiative is proudly funded by PEACEPLUS, a programme managed by the Special EU Programmes Body (SEUPB).

4,128 people. One shared belief: that young people deserve the tools to look after their mental health.

Across all our partners, PEACE of Mind has now reached over four thousand participants. Young people, families and communities right across Northern Ireland and the border counties.

Behind that number is a partnership that makes it all possible. Verbal, Cedar, Inspire and The Open University, each bringing their own expertise in storytelling, inclusion, mental health and research to empower young minds and build resilience.
Want to find out how to get involved? Swipe to see the contact details for each of our partner teams and reach out. We would love to hear from you.

Every story in PEACE of Mind starts long before we walk into a classroom.

Our writers and trainers work together to build stories from the ground up. Researching our real experiences, shaping narratives that feel authentic to young people, and testing every applied storytelling session before it reaches a single student.

Psychology-informed, co-produced and delivered with care.
