A little honesty today… 🤍

You may have noticed I’ve been a little MIA - life was life-ing and I realised, what they say about having little ones is true; “the days may seem long but the years are short”. 🥺

Keeping all the plates spinning started to jarr me - personal duties and life, plus pressure of posting on socials and keeping up with all of that… something had to give.

Lots of milestones for the little ones that I didn’t want to regret not soaking up every precious moment of.

I intentionally stepped back to be present with my young family and survive a renovation that was… let’s say character-building 🫠
 Turns out, real life makes you an even better planner! Despite having decades of experience!

Happy new year all! 🥳

Kicking off with a post to help you with keeping on top of your wedding budget...

Wedding costs can slowly creep past your budget before you know it! What to look out for:

1. Extra costs associated with the venue - e.g. waste disposal, security, staffing, hiring external vendors

2. Catering extras/upgrades - coloured napkins, premium menu choices, charges for additional headcount

3. Rituals or cultural bits - whether it's gifts for the family members, dowry, gifts for the religious teams etc

4. Decor - upgrading or having a specific look or theme, fresh florals vs silk, it all adds up - but I will say this is definitely worth it to create a truly luxury vibe!

5. Transportation & accommodation - holding your event away from home across multiple days? Getting guests from A to B (and back) each day is a cost you need to factor in, as well as if you'd like to contribute towards or cover their accommodation

The finer touches to complement their events played a huge role in Ujal & Maddie’s celebrations. They were the couple that thought through EVERY-SINGLE-EVENTUALITY.

Kudos to their complete professionalism and meticulous natures, and their thoughtful and caring personalities, they wanted to ensure their guests were truly looked after.

The extra personal touches made everything *that* much more beautiful and seamless, guests were wowed and we created the most unforgettable event!
