CRYSTAL LAKE are a Japanese Metalcore band from Tokyo, formed in 2002. The band comprise vocalist John Robert Centorrino, guitarists Yudai Miyamoto and Hisatsugu Taji, bassist Mitsuru, and drummer Gaku Taura, who is a former member of NOCTURNAL BLOODLUST. After Shinya Hori's departure, Miyamoto is the only member of the original line-up who remains in the band. CRYSTAL LAKE have released five studio albums.
CRYSTAL LAKE's upcoming sixth studio album, The Weight of Sound, is due for release on 23 January 2026.

MISS MAY I are an American Metalcore band from Troy, Ohio. Formed in 2007. They signed to Rise Records in 2008 and released their debut album, Apologies Are for the Weak through the label while the members were still attending high school. The album reached 76 on the Billboard 200, No. 29 on Billboard's Top Heatseekers, and No. 66 on Top Independent Albums. The band has also had some of their material featured in big name productions; the song "Forgive and Forget" is featured on the Saw VI Original Motion Picture Soundtrack, and their song "Apologies Are for the Weak" is included in the video game Saints Row: The Third.

The band had retained the same lineup since its formation until 2024 when guitarists B.J. Stead & Justin Aufdemkampe left the band, with the only exception being bassist Ryan Neff, who left the band in 2007 and rejoined in 2009. MISS MAY I released their second studio album, Monument, on August 16, 2010; their third album, At Heart, on June 12, 2012; their fourth, Rise of the Lion, on April 29, 2014; their fifth, Deathless, on August 7, 2015. On June 24, 2016, the band left Rise Records and signed with SharpTone Records. On June 2, 2017, they released their sixth studio album, Shadows Inside, their first under their new label. On September 2, 2022, Miss May I released Curse of Existence.
On August 28, 2025, the band released a single titled "Pray for Silence" which is from their upcoming eighth studio album which is set to be released in 2026.

Fact: Guitar hero Gilby Clarke played in both Guns N’ Roses and the MC5. Who else can claim membership in two of the most life-altering rock ’n’roll outfits to ever exist on the planet? Huh?

But none of that overshadows the fact this guitarist, singer and songwriter was a 17-year-old punk from Cleveland whose Hollywood backalley dues were paid in full. Before joining the Guns N Roses circus. Gilby was Kim Fowley’s go-to session guitarist and ghost writer. It was Kim that urged Gilby to join Candy, an established Hollywood band looking for a new guitarist. With Gilby now aboard, Candy signed with Mercury and was on their way. Candy was a little early for the Sunset Strip takeover and Gilby’s rough n’ ready guitar style was better suited for the big riff quartet Kill For Thrills. Gilby signed as a writer to Virgin America and Kill For Thrills signed with MCA Records, then a late night call from Slash changed everything.

Gilby joined Guns in ’91. Private planes and diplomatic immunity followed. He appeared on the band’s Spaghetti Incident, Live Era ’88-’91 and The Greatest Hits albums. Gilby spent years on the Use Your Illusion tour in the 90s, but his proudest moment is the Gilby Rolls mode on the GNR pinball machine. If you can get him to talk, he may admit the 2012 Rock N Roll Hall of Fame induction performance was fun.

After Guns imploded, armed only with his Les Paul, Gilby went back to Virgin and launched his solo career. Receiving critical winks for his albums Pawnshop Guitars, The Hangover, Rubber, 99 Live and Swag. Recording and/or touring over the lean years with Nancy Sinatra, Heart, The MC5 & his old bandmate Slash’s Snakepit, Gilby even snuck in videos with GNR, Michael Jackson and Fall Out Boy when MTV was de rigeur. Perhaps you saw him starring alongside Tommy Lee on the CBS TV show Rockstar: Supernova or VH1 Honors with Rob Zombie and Ace Frehely ? Clarke currently splits his services with Kings of Chaos led by Matt Sorum and an all-star alumni that features Steven Tyler, Joe Elliot and Gene Simmons and his solo band.

Clarke, who’s an old school mash-up of Keef, Johnny Thunders, and B.B. King, continues to write fist-jacking rock ’n’ roll songs with fat choruses, and appear on stages around the globe. Clarke’s last solo record "The Gospel Truth" on Golden Robot Records. The lead track of Clarke’s last solo record “The Gospel Truth”, was called “Rock n’ Roll is Getting Louder” and he stands behind that statement! He’s also one of the sweetest gents you’ll ever meet. He’s a guitar hero, certainly, but also a gentleman whose heart happens to rush at rock ’n’ roll speed.

The Dark Carnival Tour 2026 follows the hugely successful Haunting Tour 2025, which saw the band perform a headlining tour across the US, Canada, Mexico, Germany, France, the Netherlands, Poland, the UK, and South Africa.

While the Haunting Tour celebrated the release of the band’s eponymous 12th album ( #3 on Germany’s Deutsche Alternative Charts, and with music videos amassing millions of views), 2026 will be a “different sort of celebration, with more to be revealed soon,” according to the band’s enigmatic frontman Ashton Nyte.
Ashton Nyte also brought his brand of dark-folk storytelling to life through select acoustic performances worldwide this year and intends to do the same in 2026.

You need neither encyclopaedia nor sat-nav to enjoy the music of Bochum-based guitarist, composer and band mastermind Axel Rudi Pell. Because what applies to most successful musicians also goes for Pell: His songs are marked by his typical, unmistakable signature, a hybrid of powerful guitar riffs and catchy melodies, presented by a brilliant band consisting of American vocalist Johnny Gioeli, former Rainbow drummer Bobby Rondinelli, bassist Volker Krawczak and keyboardist Ferdy Doernberg.
