We always aim to serve food and drink that does good, and now we have the stars to prove it ⭐⭐
This World Earth Day feels like the perfect time to share that we’ve officially achieved a two-star rating (out of three) in The Sustainable Restaurant Association’s Food Made Good Standard. This is a rigorous, evidence-backed assessment, which means there’s no room for vague promises as every single part of the process must be verified.
For us, that practical action looks like powering our venue with renewable energy and using fully compostable lunchware for our conference menus. In the kitchen, the team works closely with Waste Knot to rescue seasonal surplus produce, while any of our own excess food goes straight to our staff canteen.
But sustainability isn't just about the environment. It’s about our people, too. This certification recognises our commitment to a workplace culture built on dignity, equality, and opportunity.
While we're incredibly proud of this milestone, it is just our starting point. We’re already working on the next steps to keep improving our impact on the planet and our community.
