We play for private parties, grownup birthdays, weddings for people who don't really like the usual wedding disco thing, boat parties, smart hotels, cocktail bars, gin joints, festivals, exhibition openings. we play from vinyl and CD

This year we're making a fixed monthly financial commitment to BTEG.

Q - Why are we doing this?

We're white folk who enjoy delivering dj sets in our spare time that are mainly built around large amounts of great black music (about 80-90% of our sets). We recognise the truth that we are co-opting another groups musical cultural heritage for our own purposes (we can earn money from these DJ sets and pay no other royalty fee) BTEG are a worthy organisation that always needs help supporting folk across the BAME communities in the UK.

Q - Is this post just a bit of virtue signalling?

Yes partly. Who doesn't like to do a good thing and then shout about it a bit.

We're also keen to raise a little awareness around the idea of paying back/channelling some money out of respect to these groups past/present/future.
