One night. 124 cinemas. ~10,000 fans. 🎬

On August 17th we filmed James live for Getting Away With It and broadcast it straight into cinemas across the UK. The result: £195K at the box office, #4 in the UK, and the 3rd highest grossing doc of the year.

TRANSFORMERS: THE MOVIE has returned to the big screen globally for its 40TH ANNIVERSARY, and London fans of all ages came out to relive it together.

We hit the streets outside Prince Charles Cinema to hear why. Some grew up on the VHS tape, and some hadn't seen it since they were kids. All of them agreed, nothing beats watching it together on the big screen!

James: Getting Away With It. One night. 143 screens. Live!

We were brought in to distribute James: Getting Away With It, a documentary about the iconic Manchester band, directed by Chris Atkins, which premiered at Aviva Studios in their hometown on 17th August.

We also produced and broadcast the live conversation between the band and Gary Neville, transformed the same stage into a live event, and beamed it simultaneously into 143 cinemas across the UK, Ireland and Mexico. Handling everything from in-house production to the livestream and the overall theatrical release - a truly end-to-end service!

The night landed at #4 in the UK box office and is one of the top-performing documentaries of the year. When we asked those in cinemas why they bought a ticket, around 6 in 10 of the thousands of responses stated: Shared communal atmosphere.

That's what means to us. Not content that people simply consume - it's a moment they were in, together, at the same time, in rooms full of people who felt and experienced the same thing.

Nearly £180,000 at the box office. All on a Monday! From “I watched it” to “I was there.
