Really excited to announce my talk as part of Cambridge Photography Show this Sunday 18th at 4:30pm.

I’ll be discussing representation, identity and finding your voice behind the camera.

“For photographer, filmmaker and visual artist Leesha Williams, photography has always been about more than simply making an image. It is about identity, perspective, representation and the stories we choose to tell.Drawing on more than a decade working across weddings, commercial and brand photography, filmmaking, DOP work and personal art, Leesha will explore how our own experiences inevitably shape the way we see and photograph the world.”

Life is pretty hectic at the minute between juggling filmmaking, brand shoots, creative projects, weddings and mum life. There’s always something to edit, somewhere to be or another idea I’m trying to find time for 😂

So I’m super grateful for moments like these. A few days at Stay Cozy Apartments, with space to breathe, catch up on things and gather my thoughts before getting back to it all.

And obviously, a little self-portrait because I couldn’t waste this window light ✨

Clare + Ron came all the way from the US to elope in London and the vibes were IMMACULATE 😭

A tiny ceremony in the ruins of St Dunstan in the East, a handfasting, their OWN HANDSHAKE mid-ceremony 😭, a couple of their favourite people and just so much bloody joy.

Honestly this is exactly why I love elopement weddings so much. You can literally just do whatever the hell you want???

No rules. No traditions you don’t care about. Just pick the bits that mean something to you and have the best time.

And these two absolutely did.

Also St Dunstan in the East??? The greenery. The ruins. The light. Them looking THIS good. London really showed off for us.

Hi, I’m still here 👋🏾😂

There are lots of new faces around here lately, so hiiii, welcome 🖤

Life behind the scenes is currently a *little* chaotic. I shot 7 days last week, I’m drowning slightly in edits + admin AND I’m currently moving house alongside the usual toddler chaos. So if I’ve been quieter on here… that’s why 😂

But hi, I’m Leesha 👋🏾 Photographer, filmmaker, visual artist and owner of several businesses because apparently I enjoy giving myself things to do.

Aaron + Patrick, surrounded by the people they love, being completely themselves and having the absolute BEST time doing it.
