A little note to every small business owner from 💜

* Not every day will be productive.
* Not every idea will work.
* Not every post will perform.
* Not every enquiry will turn into a sale.
Sometimes, despite giving it everything, things simply won’t go to plan.
That doesn’t mean you’re failing.

Running a small business means learning as you go.
It means trying, adapting, making mistakes, changing direction and occasionally taking a day when you just don’t have anything left in the tank.
You don’t have to have it all figured out.
Small steps are progress.
Rest is allowed.
Asking for help is allowed.
Changing your mind is allowed.
Starting again is allowed.
And please don’t compare your ordinary Tuesday behind the scenes with somebody else’s carefully curated highlight reel.
You’re building something and building takes time.
So give your business your best — but remember to give yourself a little kindness too. 💜
You are more than this week’s figures, your follower count or your to-do list.
Keep going.

🚨 HAS FACEBOOK CHANGED OVERNIGHT FOR YOU TOO? 🚨

I've opened my Facebook business page to make an edit this morning and thought…

“Hang on… where’s THAT gone?” 😳😂

If it happened to you too - you are not alone!

I had a pretty major interface change appear almost overnight, and I’m now seeing more and more people experiencing the same thing.

Meta is constantly testing, changing and rolling out new features across Facebook and, as usual, we don’t all seem to get them at the same time!

So one person’s Facebook can suddenly look completely different to somebody else’s.

Before you panic, start deleting things, change every password you own or decide somebody has hacked your account…

Breathe. 😆

Things may suddenly look different.

Settings may have moved.

Buttons might be somewhere completely new.

New features may have appeared.

Old familiar features may have been rearranged.

And, because it’s Facebook… a few things may behave a little strangely while everything settles down. 😂

That doesn’t automatically mean there is something wrong with your account.

My advice?

Have a good look around before assuming something has disappeared completely.
Facebook has a wonderful habit of moving things three menus away from where we’ve spent the last five years finding them. 🙈

If something genuinely doesn’t look right, of course check your security settings, recent logins, notifications and Account Status but a different-looking Facebook on its own isn’t necessarily cause for alarm.

So if your Facebook appears to have had a full renovation while you were asleep…

Welcome to the latest version of Facebook. 😂

Explore it.

Press a few buttons.

Find out what’s moved.

Have a play with the new features.

And try not to throw your phone across the room or chuck your PC out the window when you can’t find something that was there yesterday. 🤣📱

I’ll be having a proper look through the changes too and sharing anything useful I find, particularly anything that affects business pages, reach, posting, scheduling and social media management.

Because keeping up with social media sometimes feels like a full-time job in itself. 🚀

You don't need the perfect plan, an endless budget or all the answers to start building something amazing.

But here's the thing…
