Bespoke .Custom .Made-to-Measure.Off-the-Peg
When it comes to choosing a wedding dress, these terms are often used interchangeable, but they can mean very different things.
A dress maybe made especially for you, but does that mean the design itself has been created specifically for you?
Are you choosing from an existing collection? Customising an existing design? Or beginning with an idea and developing a completely individual gown?
None of these options is necessarily better than another. The right choice is the one that feels right for you, your vision and your wedding.
But l believe it is so important for brides to understand exactly what they are investing in. Particularly when it comes to the design process, fittings, craftsmanship and pricing.
I've written a new blog explaining the differences between bespoke, custom, made-to-measure, and off-the-peg wedding dresses. And the questions l think every bride should feel confident asking before choosing her gown.
