First of all, i want to apologize for the inconvenience hapened.

I am back in the office since yesterday and work on each file, Email i have received.

Dear All,

Due to a emergency surgery i was hospitalized for 3 weeks and i was not able to perform any marriage, process any paper or reply to a single Email.

Today, 16.09.2021 is my first working day back in the office and i will start processing all the backlog happened.

I am sorry for the inconvenience caused.

How legal is a Zoom Wedding?

Yes, a zoom wedding is fully legal - Worldwide

The only things you need to do are:

Legally apply with the Wedding People and get your Marriage License issued.

Go through a valid wedding ceremony with me as your official officiant according to state laws.

As a Official Marriage Officiant i will register your Marriage with the respective County who allows online Marriages.

The marriage Certificate will be handed over to you when the marriage is solemnized. A marriage is considered legal in the US when the beforehand mentioned steps were done.

Both state and federal laws consider a couple legally married when they hold a marriage certificate that has gone through all those steps and is duly recorded by the state.

The marriages done with the Wedding People are strictly gone through all those stages.

Federal and state laws follow procedures laid out specifically to make sure the marriage is legal. Here’s how we at the Wedding People are doing it:

A SIMPLE AND CONVENIENT APPLICATION

It doesn’t matter where you live. The Wedding people automatically registering your marriage in a state that allows online marriages. That means that you dont need to live in the USA to obtain a marriage License with the Wedding People.

Not only is it simple to know that you can get married, but it is also the process. We will guide you personally through the application and will guide you through until our part of it is done, and your marriage is legally registered and recognized.

STATE RECORDS

One of the processes required to make this legal is the Wedding Peoples officiant who records all the important information required to make all this legal, including important details like the date and place of the ceremony, the couple’s names, the names of the witnesses and a digital signature to complete the marriage.

NOTE: Digitally signed records are as legally binding as paper records or hand-signed documents.

THE LICENSE

When our officiant has entered all the informations, the system of the state will generate a digitally certified and completely legal copy of your Marriage License and a digital certificate of your Completed Marriage.

The information resides in a government database as proof that the marriage took place following the legal process.

The County sealed physical copy of your marriage certificate will be sent to you on the next available business day after the marriage got registered by the officiant of the Wedding people.

What if you are outside The United States?

If the couple is from outside the US, you might need an Apostille in order to get registered as married in the country you live. Marriage certificates often need to be legalised for international use. Many authorities abroad request a marriage certificate be provided with the apostille as proof of marriage.

What can you expect when you are getting married with the Wedding People?

Once you have submitted your Documents and application to us, we will apply your marriage license. This allows you legally to get married.

Coming close to the wedding day, you need to supply two witnesses over the age of 18.

You as the couple and your witnesses need to be online with me during the ceremony, but you do not need to be in the same location.

Me as your officiant will verify the ID of the couple as well as the age and identity of the two witnesses.

The ceremony is performed by me as a Wedding officiant. I am using a standard scripts that fulfills the legal requirements of the state.

I as the Officiant will ask you, the couple, if you wish to get married to each other and both of you will need to respond, Yes, i do.

You will be given the chance to exchange vows and rings if you want to.

After the ceremony, i will finalize the registration of your wedding with the county.

After the registration with the county will receive your digital certified copy of your marriage certificate by Email. Your hard-copy will be sent on the next available business day directly from the Marriage License Office.

If an Apostille is needed, we will get a certified copy of your marriage certificate issued and get the same send to Lt. Govenors Office where the Apostille is getting issued and send to you via FedEx Express.
