If I had to describe this past week in one word, it would have to be “shook.”
I think I’m done asking the endless “why?” questions. I’ve come to accept that we simply don’t have the capacity to understand all of God’s plans, even when they don’t make sense to us.
As a South African, we have a way of searching for the light even in the darkest of situations. And through all of this, I feel incredibly honoured to have met, served alongside, and shared moments with some truly remarkable souls.
These are friendships I never want to lose. 🤍
“About this time Jesus was informed that Pilate had murdered some people from Galilee as they were offering sacrifices at the Temple. “Do you think those Galileans were worse sinners than all the other people from Galilee?” Jesus asked. “Is that why they suffered? Not at all! And you will perish, too, unless you repent of your sins and turn to God. And what about the eighteen people who died when the tower in Siloam fell on them? Were they the worst sinners in Jerusalem? No, and I tell you again that unless you repent, you will perish, too.””
Luke 13:1-5 NLT
To my brother in Christ, Pastor Robert Guanco, may you rest in peace in our Fathers house.
