Our third round of award shortlistings in a matter of weeks: Outsourced Events has been named a finalist across four categories at the C&IT Awards 2026. In our 25th year, it's a fitting addition to an awards season that's already brought record recognition across the business.

Shortlistings:
- UK Agency of the Year
- The Luminary Award — CEO and Co-Founder Denise Sharpe

The finalist announcements just keep coming! Outsourced Events has now been named as a finalist for five more awards, this time at the Association Excellence Awards :

- Association Agency or Supplier of the Year
- Best Development of an Existing Association Event – BMFMS Annual Conference 2026 and BSGE's ASM 2026
- Best Medical Association Event – BMFMS Annual Conference 2026 and BSGE's ASM 2026

25 years in, it feels fitting that this recognition in the association space comes from partnerships built over time. Huge thanks to the British Maternal and Fetal Medicine Society and the British Society for Gynaecological Endoscopy, both amazing long-standing clients and to the dedicated OE team who bring every event to life.

Last week, some of Team OE took on The Agency Games at To***co Dock, London.

Multiple games, one competitive team and a whole lot of team spirit. The games included Scalextric, Roll-a-Ball Racing and an edible mist station. The event was a reminder of what Team OE can achieve together, a great way to make some new connections and have a lot of fun.

25 years of Outsourced Events. Two days of unforgettable celebrations.

This time last week Team OE were celebrating in style at Foxhills. Spa treatments, gym sessions, woodland walks, swimming and an attempt at duck herding that the ducks won decisively! There were awards, dinners and a disco, with DJ skills from OE team members.

Away from the office, it's easy to remember why 25 years actually happened: it's the people behind the events and their dedication. Thank you to everyone who made these two days so amazing.

Cheers to 25 years!

88% of tech marketing leaders are increasing their content budget in 2026.

That's a finding from The Confidence Code, commissioned to mark 25 years of Outsourced Events. We asked 100 senior EMEA tech marketing leaders how they're really feeling and what's testing their confidence in the events industry.

Budget is one of the clearest signals of that confidence. PR is up for 79% of leaders, martech 78%, no channel is being cut.

To celebrate 25 years of Outsourced Events, we're taking Thursday and Friday this week to mark the occasion as a team, properly disconnecting, recharging and enjoying the moment together at our annual off-site.

Our regular operations will be paused and communications limited across both days. We'll be back to business as usual on Monday, 20th July.

Thank you to every client, supplier and colleague who's been part of getting us here, we wouldn't be celebrating without you.
