When clients ask us for an Amalfi Coast celebration with a real party atmosphere, one of the biggest challenges is often the same: music curfews.

The Amalfi Coast is breathtaking, but many venues have strict music limitations, especially when it comes to amplified music and late-night dancing.

This is why sometimes the best solution is not to force the brief into the wrong location, but to look just a little further.

Sorrento is not on the Amalfi Coast, it belongs to the Sorrentine Coast, but it offers something truly rare: a spectacular cave by the sea, opening directly onto the beach, where the celebration can continue late into the night. No curfew!

For a welcome party, wedding after-party, milestone birthday, or corporate celebration, this is one of the most unique late-night venues in the area.

A hidden cave.
The sea in front of you.
Music, dancing, and that feeling that the night does not have to end too soon.

Sometimes the perfect venue is not exactly where everyone is looking. It is just beyond it.

If guests are flying across the world for a destination wedding, the first night should never feel like filler. Especially not in Puglia. It should say everything.

For Mia & Alex welcome dinner at Borgo Egnazia, that meant giving guests a real sense of the destination from the moment they arrived.

A street artist sketching portraits live in the piazza. Jugglers on stilts. Apulian music carrying through the evening. Luminarie lighting the village. A local embroiderer lady handcrafting personalised napkins for the couple. A local massaia making fresh orecchiette by hand. Grape stomping. Welcome baskets filled with taralli, local biscuits, olive oil, and ceramic pumi for good luck.

Every detail was there to root it in place.
That is when a welcome dinner stops being the event before the event and starts becoming part of the story.
Part of the atmosphere and of the memory guests take home with them.
A true introduction to where they are, and to everything that is about to unfold.

Save this for your wedding moodboard. And if you want to create a wedding experience your guests will talk about long after the weekend ends, DM us.

The poetry was in the movement.
In the fabrics lifting softly, in the lace floating in the air, in the tambourines singing with the wind.

One of the biggest misconceptions we see again and again?

Couples fall in love with the venue and think the hardest part is done.
But the venue is not the wedding. It is the setting. The shell. The canvas.

What makes a wedding feel truly exceptional is everything built around it:
the atmosphere, the flow, the comfort, the light, the rhythm, the invisible logistics, the way guests move through the experience without ever feeling the work behind it.

A beautiful place gives you potential.
It does not do the full job on its own.

In Italy especially, some of the most spectacular venues are also the ones that need the most support behind the scenes.
Beauty is what people notice first.
Seamlessness is what they remember.
That is why choosing the right venue is only the beginning.
Choosing the right team is what turns it into an experience.
If you are planning a wedding in Italy and want it to feel as exceptional as it looks, start with the people who know how to build what guests never see, but always feel.

If this reel doesn’t make you want to dance, we can’t help you! 😜

This was the white party of Mia & Alex wedding weekend, and the brief was very clear: pure fun, no stiffness, no overthinking.

Floods of Tequila clase Azul, ci**rs, gelato, panzerotti, pizza, pasta, feet in the sand, and a dance floor with zero self-control.
Hamptons hip hop vibes, St. Tropez energy, an all-white-everything dress code and the laid-back soul of Lido Bambù.

Three days, three completely different experiences.
This one was for letting go. 🫶🏻

Over the last four days, we have been beautifully busy participating and bringing to life the annual retreat Dreaming of Sorrento by and what an incredible journey it has been, once again.

I have been a little quiet here, only because these days were so full in the best possible way… but we have been sharing along the way through , and I cannot wait to soon show you more of everything we experienced, felt, and created.

So much of the beauty of these past days was captured through the sensitive eye of Luigi De Gregorio with videography and photography by Gianni Di Natale, and I will be sharing more very soon from this extraordinary three-day wedding retreat spent with the most wonderful community of Italian and international wedding professionals.

We are honestly still on cloud nine from the emotions, the inspiration, the knowledge shared, the connections created, and that very special energy that only this kind of gathering can generate.

In the meantime, I wanted to share with you the closing gala night of the retreat, inspired by one of the most iconic presences watching over Sorrento: the Vesuvio, in all its majesty, as seen from the breathtaking Bellevue Syrene.

Our creative partners, as always, were simply brilliant in developing a concept that paid tribute to the power, mystery, and beauty of the volcano, creating a truly volcanic night in every sense, in every detail, and with wonderfully volcanic people to match.

Grateful for this journey, for this community, and for all the beauty still to come.
More very soon. Stay tuned!

A splash into the pool to open the eighth edition of Dreaming of Sorrento, the signature retreat by Italy Inspires that brings together international wedding professionals in Italy to discover and experience each destination through a fresh creative lens.

This time, the setting was the iconic Bellevue Syrene in Sorrento, a stunning historic five-star luxury hotel and an extraordinary backdrop for weddings and events on the Sorrentine Coast.

For this opening evening, Italy Inspires played with the idea of the classic pool party and reimagined it as The Pool Club: a playful, immersive concept that asked a simple question, what if you could bring a pool where there isn’t one? The result was an imaginative reception and table setting inspired by the world of the pool, recreated through styling, details, colors, and atmosphere.

A vibrant tribute to Sorrento, with water as the central life-giving element, the evening came to life through balloons, colorful sponges, charms, bright bags, Italian music, dancing, and the folkloric fun of an unexpected tombola vajassa.

As participants, we were delighted to experience once again the creativity, warmth, and sense of community that make Dreaming of Sorrento such a special gathering within the international wedding world.

Sicilian Baroque is one of the most distinctive expressions of Sicily’s beauty: dramatic, elegant, and full of character. With the Cathedral and the rooftops of this stunning Baroque city as backdrop, this rooftop was the perfect setting for an evening wedding welcome cocktail and standing dinner.

As the sun went down, guests mingled, enjoyed the view, and moved freely through the space, embracing a more dynamic and relaxed atmosphere. No formal seated dinner, just a beautiful flow of conversation, DJ set, sunset light, and that effortless magic that Sicily does so well.

An evening suspended above the city, surrounded by history, beauty, and atmosphere.

La Dispensa della Nonna!
The Grandmother’s Pantry di Trattoria da Lorenzo!

Noun · Italian · /la dis·pén·sa del·la nón·na/
The sacred larder of the Italian home, a pantry or sideboard kept by the grandmother, stocked with the finest provisions of the season: preserved meats, aged cheeses, honey, olives, and the ripest fruits of the land.
In Southern Italian tradition, la dispensa is far more than a pantry, it is a love language. The grandmother’s careful hand selects, arranges, and offers each ingredient as a gesture of welcome, abundance, and belonging.
For their welcome dinner in Ravello, Andriana & Carlos brought this cherished tradition to life, a living tribute to Andriana’s Italian heritage and the family table where food was never just sustenance, but devotion.
A traditional dispensa holds: formaggi stagionati, salumi & prosciutto, miele artigianale, olive, frutta di stagione, grissini, mozzarella fresca, and the iconic limoni della Costiera.

“Displayed not as a buffet, but as an artwork, every lemon, every wheel of cheese, every sprig of olive placed with intention. This is how Italians say: benvenuti a casa.”

If you’re planning a wedding in Italy, learn this word: APERITIVO

APERITIVO (noun) = in Italy, it’s the pre-dinner ritual designed to “open” the evening: a sensory pause of conversation, music, light bites, and atmosphere.
Not just “cocktail hour” per se, but a cultural moment.

For Federica & Phil, the aperitivo wasn’t filler between ceremony and dinner, it was a full immersive chapter of the day, built around the senses:

✨ Scent: a perfume bar by Carthusia, where each guest created a custom home fragrance to take back with them
🍸 Taste + theatre: cocktail activations, including a (espresso) martini tower
🍧 Italian joy: gelato moments and food live experiences throughout
🎶 Sound: Italian jazz music that guided the mood from first toast to dinner call

Because in Italy, the aperitivo sets the tone! it’s where guests arrive emotionally, connect, and start living the celebration, before they even sit down.
