Wednesday Gin Club!
We are almost there! We are over halfway through the working week, so what better way to celebrate the end of humpday than with a craft gin garnished with rosemary?

Today we are throwing it back to the speciality gin bar we curated with earlier this year . What gin would you choose?

Creamy, smooth and rich - a unique gin

🍸 Hyogo 135 Degrees East
Modern, eastern-style gin from a sake producer

🍸 Old Raj Export Strength
Saffron-infused, overproof gin

🍸 Ableforth’s Old Tom Gin
Classic bath-tub style, a little sweeter Old Tom gin

🍸 Bols Genever
Dutch malted juniper spirit - the precursor to gin

🍸 Served with Jack Rudy Small Batch tonic or elderflower tonic and your choice of garnish.

There’s no doubt that it signals the start of party season as the days get shorter and nights longer. We asked our chief mixologist Alex at what sharing cocktail recipes he has up his sleeves that can be easily rustled up at home, ready for when it’s your turn to host a soiree.

Behold Alex’s spin on a 90s fav - the ShowJoe Public - (Non)Traditional Sour – Cosmopolitan. You’ll need a Soda Siphon and Co2 cartridges to create your cocktail version of a bottle of bubbles!

INGREDIENTS
🥃 12 oz (360 ml) Jinro Soju 24
🍊 3 oz (90 ml) Birds Botanical Spirit
🧃 8 oz (240 ml) BTW Apple Cranberry Kombucha* If you don’t make your kombucha, replace this element with cranberry and apple juice and caster sugar to taste. If you do make kombucha get in touch with for their recipe!
🔴 8 squirts New England Spiced Cranberry Bitters
💦 2 oz (60 ml) cold water

METHOD
⚡ Mix all the ingredients in a measuring jug and check that your level is at 750 ml.
⚡ You now need to get your mix VERY COLD to carbonate, so stick it in the freezer to get it down to below zero (without the mix freezing).
⚡ Add to a Soda Siphon; make sure you remove the long straw when assembling the kit (this is to dispense water and prevents carbonation when not using water!) Seal, charge (once) and shake vigorously. Put the unit in the fridge for an hour or two.
⚡ Take the dispenser out of the fridge and slowly release the pressure - you don’t want it to foam up inside, so bubbles start coming out the spout; we only want to relieve the pressure. Once it’s all out, unscrew the top and viola!
⚡ Get an empty sparkling wine bottle you have cleaned thoroughly and gently dispense the siphon's contents into the bottle. Cap the bottle with a champagne stopper and store it in the fridge for at least an hour before serving.

The bottle should yield eight serves.
