Deciding on your wedding guest list can be tricky, especially when you have a budget and venue capacity to consider and need to pick and choose between friends and family to join you. But don't worry - with our guest list tips, you'll have yours sorted in no time!

Start Big, Then Trim ✨ Begin by listing everyone you'd love to invite. It's easier to start big and narrow it down afterward

Prioritize VIPs 💖Identify your must-have guests – immediate family, close friends, and anyone else essential to your day.

Kids or No Kids? 👶Decide if you want a child-free wedding. An adults-only wedding can significantly impact your numbers.

Plus-Ones ➕Set a rule for plus-ones. If a guest is in a serious relationship, inviting their partner is considerate.

Consider Relationships 🤝Think about your relationship with potential guests. Have you spoken recently? Will they add joy to your day?

Evening Only Invites 📩We all have those new friends or neighbours we enjoy but might not have known that long.

Divide and Conquer 📋 Split the list between you, your partner, and both families. Ensure everyone has input and feels included, especially if they are contributing financially. It doesn't have to be a 50/50 split, especially if one of you has a bigger family than the other.

Venue Capacity 🏰 Your guest list needs to fit comfortably within that number. Your guest count might be a deciding factor in your choice of venue, but if you've already chosen your venue, you might have to trim your guest list to fit.

Set Your Budget 💸 Knowing your budget will help you determine your venue and, ultimately, the size of your guest list. Keep costs and venue capacity in mind as you start refining your list.
