A week on from Chelsea Flower Show, we reflect on the journey we have taken, and where it all began 🌱

On a happy day in March, in the walled garden we gathered and poured over the well-loved pages of the beautiful stories to begin our adventure together. Many of the days that followed were spent with the team exploring the land and discovering all that the seasons had to offer us.

What a privilege it has been to bring to life the enchanting pages of Brambly Hedge on such an epic scale across the Bullring Gate; installing our entrance display into the most iconic flower show on earth. Our garden installation inside the Great Pavilion was a space for meticulous details, as we created our interpretation of the beloved “Wedding Arch” scene.

Thank you for inviting us to bring it all to life and what a pleasure it has been to work so closely with you all. Perhaps the story has only just begun.....

As this year’s incredible Chelsea Flower Show draws to a close, we reflect on the most wonderful week spent in our little garden, set amongst the floral splendour of the Great Pavilion.

If our Bullring Gate entrance display presented a portal into the magical hedgerow world created by Jill Barklem, we wanted our internal exhibit to delve further into the specific details picked out from her iconic Summer Story. The scene was brought to life in three dimensional form, focussing on the beautiful ‘Wedding Arch’ and created as if it had sprung to life from the pages of the book.

We have been completely blown away by the hundreds of show guests and visitors who have stopped by and who have enjoyed our creation. How heartwarming it has been to have heard your childhood memories of these beloved stories and to have been told that you felt we did them justice through our interpretation!

This has been an extraordinary experience that I will certainly remember for the rest of my life! Thank you for all of the fun 🌸 I have a feeling this is just the beginning…

Behind the scenes of our designing and planning for Chelsea Flower Show 🌱

I’m thrilled to be collaborating with the brilliant team who are very generously providing an abundance of British greenery and foliage to use across our designs at Chelsea have worked tirelessly to create unique relationships with growers and estates up and down the country to source the best quality produce. I’m so excited to be working with Matt and the team ✨

A final planning and design meeting with and an opportunity to see and choose the flowers that will be harvested for us to use across our Chelsea designs and installations in just a few days time! We are all very excited to get started now and can’t wait to share more ✨

As the internationally acclaimed Badminton Horse Trials draw to a close for another year, the gears up for an exciting week ahead as we start to gather material for our Chelsea project with 🌱

It is so exciting to once again be collaborating with the team who will kindly be supplying an array of the most beautiful greenery, foliage and hedgerow ingredients to use for our Bullring Gate installation.

I feel hugely fortunate have the opportunity to work with the on-site forestry team on this collective mission to find completely seasonal, sustainably sourced British ingredients from the beautiful Swangrove woods. These which will be gathered and brought to London this time next week for us to use throughout our designs and I’m very excited to get started now. Watch this space!

Reflections of a wonderful day earlier this Spring spent in the walled garden filming behind the scenes and capturing the essence of our incredibly special Chelsea Flower Show project.

Inspired by Jill Barklem’s remarkable talent as both an artist and storyteller, our installations at Chelsea will be created using an abundance of fresh, entirely seasonal, English garden flowers, planting and locally sourced greenery.

Crucially, our installations will highlight the fragility of the British hedgerow and the urgent need to protect these vital ecological structures from the impact of mass farming. Hedgerows are essential building blocks of our landscapes and biodiversity and are the UK’s largest priority habitat.

We are so excited to share more of what we have been working on soon! 🌱

Preparation for Chelsea… it has certainly become a family affair! Watching my boys become interested and engaged in the project and keen to be involved has been one of the most magical parts of the experience so far. Today has been spent tending to the honeysuckle and wandering in the fields by the brook at home, working out how we can safely transport the kingcups from their marshy roots to the Great Pavilion, in time for Poppy & Dusty’s wedding day! If you know, you know! 🌸

Behind the scenes Chelsea 2026 ✨

I’m so excited to share some more of the wonderful photos taken by brilliant Andrea of a glorious day spent plotting and planning with the team in the walled garden last month 🌱

Working with the inimitable who I have been lucky enough to collaborate with on many occasions over the years - Polly cleverly interpreted my emails, scribbles and garbled voice notes into the most beautiful designs and artistic renders of our inspired hedgerow creation that will adorn the Bullring Gate in a few weeks time for the greatest flower show on earth!

The installation will be a celebration of some of the beloved scenes from Brambly Hedge’s Spring and Summer stories using endless English garden-grown flowers from with British hedgerow ingredients and foliage very kindly gifted by both and ✨
