Hey,
I grew up in Bangladesh in a joint family, where my father is from India and my mother is from Pakistan. Growing up I was fortunate enough to experience the best of what our countries and culture had to offer.
Alhumdulilah, mine was a home of warmth, colours and festivals (ie constant source of of amazing home cooked food!!!)
I inherited one of many skills my mother posses. I have always seen interior and event decorating as art.
It is safe to assume I had an adventurous, and as my mother would say a mischievous childhood with my siblings. And why not !!? I had all the freedom in the world to explore my creativity through various outlets. May it be painting or even lending a helping hand when it came to decorations, ANY decoration !!
Being the hopeless romantic I am, I got married and moved to London in my early 20s and this is where my journey began.
I was fortunate enough to travel various countries and be inspired by their architecture and culture.
It is very recently that I decided to follow my passion and make my dream into a reality. Big shout out to every single person who had supported me throughout my roller coaster of a journey. ( that's another story!! )
