What I say as a colleague…
‘It is with profound sadness that I share the news that our dear friend Rob Baxter passed away on Sunday. Rob was an enormously valued part of ARC Events for many years and played a vital role in shaping the company. His brilliance for logistics, numbers and problem-solving was matched by his warmth, humour and the genuine care he showed to everyone he worked with. He was deeply respected across our industry and loved by colleagues, clients and suppliers alike. My thoughts are with his family and everyone who had the privilege of knowing him.’
What I say as a friend…
‘Hey mate, I bloody love ya. You have been my business other half, my right arm, my mathematical guru, logistics wizard and the person I could always count on for a smile.
Ten years of knowing that laugh. Your chiselled face that broke a million girls hearts. Those filthy innuendos. And your incredible way of making everyone feel so so special. You were friends with everyone, we all love you so so much. You touched so many lives in a way only you could.
This is beyond hard to write, and I don't know when any of us will truly believe you're gone. All our thoughts and prayers are with your family.
