THE ETHIOPIANS, LEGENDARY PIONEERS IN SKA, ROCKSTEADY & CLASSIC ROOTS REGGAE
Greetings, my name is Pharaoh Shabaka, manager of "The Ethiopians". The Ethiopians has just released an album (Children Praise Jah) in Aug. 2015 and has released a new album (Survival) in February of 2016, they will also release two additional albums (Play Reggae & Everything Ska) in summer 2016. The Ethiopians are currently available for collaboration & booking.
"The Ethiopians" (Originally "The Ethiopian Children") is one of Jamaica's most influential vocal groups. Not only did the original quartet (Leonard Dillon, Wally Booker, Harold Bishop & Neville Duncan) spearhead the transition between Ska and Rocksteady, Dillon's heavily Rastafarian lyrics also paved the way for the socially conscious roots reggae era that was to come.
