In half an hour, the four finalists will be taking to the [d]arc thoughts stage to share their presentations. This year’s finalists are Anna Freiesleben of Michael Grubb Studio, Irene Mazzei of Stoane Lighting , Maria Teresa Aguilar Carrasco, and Tom Ruddle of EGG lighting.

Now in its 29th year, the SLL Young Lighter 23 competition provides a high-profile opportunity to help younger lighting professionals in the early stages of their careers 💡

Good luck to the incredible finalists on this well-deserved recognition and achievement.

Head to the [d]arc thoughts theatre, in collaboration with Lutron, at 11.30 to hear Grimanesa Amoros’s captivating talk.

She will be delving into 'Illuminating Boundaries: The Exploration and Creation of Art Through Light,' followed by a Q&A session with arc magazine's editor, Matt Waring.

Grimanesa is an internationally renowned light artist whose work explores community connections intersecting history, technology, and architecture.

Today is THE DAY 🖤

In just over one hours’ time, the doors at the Business Design Centre will officially open for LiGHT 23!

We have over 150 exhibitors for you to explore and an incredible line-up of [d]arc thoughts talks, including our headline speaker Grimanesa Amoros, Designing for a Global Brand, Sustainability & Circularity in Design, and the SLL Young Lighter Final.

Plus, tonight is the free late-night drinks opening 🥂

The doors will be open from 10am - 9pm!

If you have pre-registered, make sure you have your confirmation open on your phone to scan to save time when arriving at the venue.

Are you ready for LiGHT 23? The UKs only dedicated lighting specification event opens its doors TOMORROW 💡

Over 150 exhibitors are ready to share their high-end lighting products with thousands of visitors. featuring bespoke, lighting controls, decorative, exterior, interior, and light sources.

darc space, the dedicated area for decorative lighting and design is fully booked, and is a must-visit for interior designers at the event.

More than 35 inspirational speakers are ready to share their insights as part of the [d]arc thoughts programme, with the exceptional Grimanesa Amoros headlining the event.

There are plenty of opportunities for networking and socialising, including FREE late-night drinks until 9pm on 21 November and LiGHT Lunch on 22 November.

Traxon are also hosting an after party on 21st November from 9pm – 1am at The Skinny Kitchen, with a live DJ, party games, and prizes on offer!
