A totally personal celebration bursting with colour and laughter, Georgie and Jordan married at Ripple Court in sunny Deal, Kent.
Georgie says, "We had a beautiful egalitarian Jewish humanist wedding full of mixed faith traditions, personal vows and lots of love.
"We included so many personal touches, from little rubber ducks dotted around the venue in memory of my grandfather to the seed paper that we asked people to plant to remember my wonderful mum Jenny, who had very green fingers. We had Jewish dancing where we get thrown up on chairs and dance in circles - it was a CrossFit Games x wedding hybrid.
"My favourite moment was seeing Jordy under the chuppah and dancing the night away in my dress! I created a bespoke gown with The OWN, starting with my initial visit to the studio where the team draped me in different materials and created my dream dress from random silks. Once we had a concept I then received the most beautiful sketches that brought my vision to life.
"For me, all I cared about was that I felt comfortable and I looked chic. I didn’t want too much fuss because I wear very simple cuts in my day to day clothing and I wanted a dress that would match the high vibe with the constant dancing and chaos of the day.
"It was important for me to integrate something from my late mother’s dress and the team spent time with me deciding how we would do it. We ended up borrowing two buttons from her dress and used them to fasten the back of mine, it was beautiful!
"The most beautiful thing about weddings is seeing people that would ordinarily never have met, speaking at your wedding. I loved seeing mine and Jordan’s family dancing the night away, my grandma speaking to Jordan’s friends, our respective sisters together - it was all perfect!"
