Phones up before they’d even sat down.
Guests walked in flanked on both sides — a gilded swing wrapped in blush and lilac blooms on one, draped Rajasthani-style lounge seating in jewel-toned cushions and trailing florals on the other. Ahead of them, one oversized floral canopy suspended the full length of the room, anchoring it all in blush, lilac, and dusted rose. Soft, romantic, and quietly rooted in heritage.

Every design decision for Akilesh Sreecumaar & ceremony was made to honour the traditions taking place within it. Layered florals, handcrafted details and a colour palette inspired by Tamil heritage came together to create a setting that felt timeless—allowing every entrance, every ritual and every family moment to take centre stage.

For Alisha & Seemal’s ceremony, every design decision was informed by the landscape, allowing the setting to shape the design rather than asking the design to compete for attention.

The twisted branch framework echoed the surrounding woodland, while layers of foliage softened the structure until the mandap felt as though it had emerged naturally from the trees beyond. Fresh jasmine garlands, cascading vines and delicate foliage weren’t chosen simply for their beauty—they were selected for the way they respond to the summer breeze, introducing a gentle sense of movement that allowed the installation to evolve throughout the ceremony.

Crystal droplets were carefully positioned to catch the changing morning light, creating fleeting moments of sparkle as the sun moved through the trees and across the landscape.

Because exceptional event design isn’t about adding more. It’s about understanding the space, respecting its surroundings, and knowing how every material, texture and composition can work together to create something that feels as though it has always belonged there.
