The BBE Record Store began as a celebration of BBE Music's 20 years in the real music business in 2016. Housed in the collaborative space, The Institute of Light which is a cinema, bar, restaurant, event space & work-space, the shop has since

grown to include thousands of 2nd hand records of all genres. Specialising in BBE Music's past & present releases, we also have 2nd hand soul, funk, disco, jazz, blues, reggae, hip-hop, rap, rock and much more on vinyl....

Sunday 27th July we are delighted to have in store to celebrate the release of his phenomenal new project on and “past present (tone poems across time).

There will be an in depth Q&A with Kevin LeGendre where mark will dive deep into the creation of this album , as well as some live demonstrations of his creative process .

And to top it all off we will have on the decks to close things out - what else do you need on a Sunday in London.

A track written about an epic festival in France 🇫🇷 1976, which included an embarrassment of riches from the jazz world including Hugh Masekala, Airto Moreira, Al Jarreau, Michaël Urbaniak and many more . The detective 🕵️‍♂️ work of J Ivy in the studio unearthed the original flyer from the festival after convos with Brian .
