On a positive note I have a few jobs coming in over the Summer so hopefully things are going in the right direction. Now I need to bolster my crew. Understandably a lot of them have gone off and got other work. Now we need to entice them back. Not easy! Covid got us at both ends! The events industry needs to get back onto an even keel for those freelancers to have the confidence to make that transition. Now we have this worrying Indian variant of the virus. Why didn’t the Government close our borders earlier? It will be a travesty if we go into another lockdown.

I am hopeful that events will be coming back soon - in the UK anyway! We have our first big job booked in for end of April. Show Support Services is still here and we still have crew. Our rates are still the same as they were in 2019. Please get in touch if you need additional crew support for your upcoming events. I wish everyone the best of luck coming back from what has been the worst time for Events. ❤️

The Events Industry will come back. Although it’s tough, we have to remain positive and hope that in some form or another we can all get back to doing what we love and what is in our blood - Events!
I hope the Government come up with some sort of further Support Package to see our industry through to when the work does start up again. I know there have been redundancies and companies going under already which is incredibly sad. I just hope that we can hang on for a few more months.
I am in touch with my crew and they are ready and desperate to get back to doing what they do best. I feel for them in particular. I wish everyone well. x
