August was...
the peak, the threshold of changes, endings and new beginnings. With most of the year gone, and another wedding season closer to an end, we embark on to what's to come for the closing of the year and deliveries of the next year's new season.

On a personal note, there have been many changes, with challenges bringing many things to an end, and opportunities creating space for new things. At the moment, there is just one last major thing to conclude, my dissertation for my Master's at Event Experience Management, which has been very important and crucial to my self-discovery personal and professional journey as a creative, thus really dear to my heart and pride for what I've accomplished so far.

In the creative world, two stars, , a legend, a great personality and true advocate of LGBTQ rights, and , a visionary and creative, have both departed this world. Your legendary work and legacy, will continue to shine. 🕊

The Party... 🌈🪩
Even though Pride month is over, true celebration(s) live on, throughout the year!

And just like most festivities are short lived, true celebrations live on within the little or big moments of our daily lives...
And that's why we throw parties, to truly celebrate and remember these moments for life.

These are the types of events I like to do, the ones that carry on the message and the meaning of a celebration!

From ripples and waves, to the perfect flow.
Nature is a source of inspiration and a lesson. Like water that draws a path, has a flow and creates a rhtyhtm, a well-designed space does the same.

Creating event spaces, are both aesthetic and social act, shaping the quality of connection in a room — where relationships are built and nurtured.

To feel organic, it needs to be considered, yet 'look' unintentional.

Hello, June. The longest days are here.
June has a way of slowing you down just enough — the kind of light that makes everything feel possible.

The most memorable celebrations are born in sun-soaked, laid-back moments, with destinations chosen not just for beauty but for what they represent. A journey made of moments, each one part of a larger story.

Whatever the destination and the celebration, June is a beautiful place to begin — warm enough to feel it, fresh enough to move with it.

Time for shots!
Not the ones you have in mind.
Though you'll probably have one or two — or more — at the party. But I'm talking photography shots.
Block time in your timeline, before or after the ceremony — or both — just for the two of you. No guests, no schedule pressure. Just you, your photographer and the moment.
Candid. Documentary. Editorial. Cinematic. Choose your style and commit to it.

Planning the Seating (Plan)…
…makes or breaks the party.

Τraditional table charts sometimes work, and sometimes don't.

Seating plans are nothing but logistics designed for flawless PR — one that can shift the whole energy of an event.

Smaller groups spark conversation, and round tables could help do so.
Long tables create impact but also distance. Strategic placement matters — who sits next to whom. A thoughtful and considerate approach can make it feel inclusive, convivial and visually striking.

Mix intentionally. Remove awkwardness with engagement by simply "reading" the room when you plan it, not when you have executed it.

Unconventional layouts work — if the logistics support them. Clusters, a mix of table sizes, lounge areas — all of it is possible. Flow, service, sightlines and sound — it's an intrinsic communication between design and logistics.

Seating is a large part of the guest experience, not just an afterthought.

Distance is Just a Detail…
…when your story is worth telling.

Whether you are planning a destination wedding, a brand experience, or an experiential workshop or retreat — this is for you.

That takes vision. That takes trust. And it takes someone who understands both.

It's not just the language, or the suppliers you can trust — though they equally matter enormously. But the rhythm of a place. The way things move. The unwritten rules that no website will ever tell you.

At their core, destination experiences are a logistics journey expressed through design. And when the logistics are handled with care and precision, the design has room to breathe.

When you're planning from a distance, the gaps are invisible until they aren't. Miscommunication. Contracts that read differently across cultures. Suppliers whose timelines don't align with yours. Details that fall through simply because nobody was there to catch them.

That's where Onar comes in.

Not just to make it beautiful — though we absolutely will. But to make sure that by the time you arrive, all you have left to do is step in and experience it.

Distance is not an obstacle. But with the right approach, it becomes part of the story.

Your story matters — to be seen and felt. All it needs is the soul to connect and the structure to carry it, turning intention into experience. If that's what you're looking for — the link in bio is where we begin.

I love me some simple stationery 💌
Sometimes simple is so much better.

What counts is the message. And if it's strong, then it's all that matters!

BioBrutalism — A New Form of Aesthetic.
It began as Brutalism — a bold architectural movement of the 1950s and 60s rejecting ornamentation in favour of raw, exposed materials and structural honesty. Concrete. Steel. Nothing hidden. Simple and straightforward.

It became art — and a subject of great debate.

Then something shifted.

As sustainability became a cultural priority and wellness moved to the centre of how we design our spaces and experiences, Brutalism found a new conversation partner: nature itself. The result is BioBrutalism — that same stripped-down, uncompromising aesthetic, now in dialogue with the organic, the living and the sensory.

Minimalism was already a progressive design concept. Combined with the influence of Asian culture and the growing presence of flora — from simple decorative touches to a more permanent, integrated way of living — these worlds began to merge.

Think Japanese wabi-sabi — the philosophy of beauty found in imperfection and impermanence — meeting raw concrete and open skies. Futuristic in feeling (at times even post-apocalyptic), yet deeply rooted in something timeless.

Brands were among the first to embrace it as a signal of authenticity. Of endurance. Of something real in a world of noise.

And in events? It translates beautifully.

We brought nature indoors and taken living spaces outdoors. Across exhibitions, commercial environments and designed event experiences, complementary materials tell the story — wood for warmth, metals and reflective surfaces to create illusion and expand space, fabric for softness and texture, and light to shift atmosphere entirely.

Music, as always, is essential in setting the tone.

For BioBrutalism, it is the contrasts that make it compelling: simple yet solid — raw yet gentle — cold and warmth — artificial and natural — modern yet everlasting.

It is a canvas. One that can be adjusted, layered and played with — always honest, always intentional, always grounded in something real.

If this aesthetic speaks to you — whether for a wedding, a brand event or an experience you're imagining — this is the kind of design conversation I love to have.
